  1. I never can understand why some people feel the need to have two identities............

Yep,I don`t get that either...that and why if you happen to post more than one comment to someone`s post some of them have the feeling they`re being stalked  ...and that people who used to post pics of themselves had them removed,I still don`t undestand why...these are the reasons why at least I stopped being here...another one is that I try to break the VJ addiction :P

  2. age in some cases, really is just a number, and all in you mind...

especially when you get so old you can't remember that number!!!

Ive stopped counting but my bod does remind me now and then lol

It is just a number though.....most have a hard time believing my age of 46, not only looks but more by the way I act and dress. Hence why in many cases a man my age or older cant keep up with me lol and I so dont want to be slowed down just yet....plenty of time for that when Im 6 feet under or burned to a crisp.

I remember reading your post about the ages of your kids, when I seen your pic no WAY could I believe you were old enough to have kids that age! omg!

:) JC you here...the two of us maybe should take a room  ...a chat room that is ;)

I was going to say something after Aussie`s post to when something here interferred...it`s 10:30 am here and I should move away from the computer pronto...so i`ll just say that what Lorelle said about 6 feet under and ``slow down`` I just thought that would definately make us slow down quite a bit

  3. :) Can gals join here too?....this is such a manly man thread so far B) ...just saying welcome back Miror...``churchilly married man`` sounds so good  Congratulations!...and saying that noticed Dean kept mum about the house painting but judging by his mood lately he must be still into it me assumes :P B) ....and if I were you I shoudln`t call Agent Smith quite a ``peep`` ...and I talk a lot right now

I guess I was trying to say welcome back

  4. Thanks to everyone for the reply's....The anniv. is tomorrow (14th in melb) so atm I dread it...

It still seems like it was yesterday.....

being seperated from my fiance is the worst right now so I'm kinda a combo of sad and peeved at the waiting...I'm tempted to try and fly out next week for a week or so after I hear when my appointment will be...but paranoid I will be denied entry so we will have to see... :(

Right now I have never felt more alone.

    hugs to all

If you decide to go see your fiance that would be good for you to feel better(I am talking like I`ve just discovered the water is wet here  ....I`d say you won`t have problems at the entry if your return ticket will be so soon after the departure...just be ready to show them at the POE proof of ties with Australia and IF they ask (only if they ask) tell them you wouldn`t screw(ok,I just put it in my little colorful way :P ...you might phrase it better) your K1 application now and overstay on a tourist visa at this point.

And...sorry to hear you feel alone...I know something about that feeling....hugs

  5. I am 37 female.

My first real relationship started when I was 24 and he was 23 years older than me,he was 47 at the time.We stayed together(lived together and worked together and had a very good relationship) for 5 years. My parents and the rest of the family didn`t have anything against that(not that it would have changed things much if they had been against it).

When I was 29 I started a good relationship with a man 8 years younger than me,we lived together for other five years(it seemed that my relationships were meant to last for 5 years :( . My family didn`t agree with me being with a younger man.

My USC ex fiance, who I met at the end of 2003 was 41 when we met,I was 34. It was an intense, tough ,bitter and sweet long distance relationship.I am still trying to deal with it.

  6. um, isnt it possible that BOTH players were to blame?

you dont poke a lion with a stick and think he wont try to bite

I am not trying to defend the Italian player, (even if I`m a fan of Italian soccer) tho he didn`t headbutt anybody. I was just very disappointed of how a player like Zidane could attack like that..he`s known for his temper but in all these years of experience he probably knows,or at least I thought he knew you don`t do that when you are a superstar soccer player at the end of your career in a game like a World Cup final when a billion people are watching you. It`s not in the spirit of soccer. It was an insult to the soccer world. It was a stupid thing to do.

  7. We all know it was a shamful act and MAYBE it cost a worldcup to France.

the question is going to be: What the hell did Materazzi say or do? Was it about your mother?

In that case, I'll give Zidane a tip for next time. Tell a 'your mother is so fat joke'. It should work like a charm. Especially on an Italian. 'Cause, you know...

It doesn`t matter what Materazzi said, people don`t get that. There are milions of more or less offensive things that players allover the world tell each other during games, but a player that lose their temper like Zidane in a World Cup final and attack in THE WAY he did it (headbutting someone`s chest like that can be real dangerous) is a loser.Zidane proved to be :dead:

  8. :) Raggazzi scusate-mi,ho pensato un po se non sarebbe meglio per me di non venire a rompere le palle anche qui nel thread Italiano  ...Alexcrv tu ne sai qualcosa... :) Grazie amica (F) ...I just talked today with my friends in Italy, they are from Firenze(my boss and his wife are great people and they have a daughter 27 years old,she was of big help cheering me up back in 2003 when I was out of a 5 years relationship.Great great people). And of course I made a huge`CASINO` on the phone congratulating them ,they didn`t go to Rome for the festivities these days but they were overjoyed, which I loved because they are always caught up with a lot of work work, one thing I learned from them is about work ethics  ...I wouldn`t have missed Rome these days if I were them tho :).

Good luck to everybody in your important thing in your lives...getting the visas, adjusting to your new lives in America..have great times (F)

  9. (F) I am sorry for the loss of somebody you love.

Tho you need to take care of yourself right now. Can`t you have anybody to spend a few nights with you?And maybe you could call the police tell them about the weird guy that showed up at your window?

  10. that video was AWSOME !!! :)

maybe now other countries wont see us anymore as the land of gipsies and abandoned children.

im romanian, my husband is american, and we plan to move to romania for good in about 2 years! he likes it more there than here in the states ! :) and to be honest, so do i .

i have a question for you, if you can help me...after obtaining a tourist visa for USA (we're trying to get my mom over here for a short visit) can my mom use it after, lets say, 6 months? or it becomes invalid if she doesnt use it after a certain amount of days / months ?

    thanks!

    gabby (F)

Right now that I am going thru the whole thread...did your mom get a tourist visa Gabby? If she gets one(hope she does :star: ) it can be a one entry B1/B2 visa, that`s tourist/business visa or a multiple entries tourist B1/B2 visa. The first time I asked for one I got a tourist visa they issued me one entry tourist visa valid for one year and the second time a multiple entries one, valid the same for one year but I heard they can issue tourist visa valid for 10 years. The difference is that with a one entry visa you can logically enter the US once and it doesn`t matter when you use it as long as you do it within the terms that the visa is valid (the issuance date and the expiring date are actually stamped on the visa ) and with a multi entries one you can use the same visa more times.I think the only problem is not to stay longer than 6 months during one trip, but it can raise suspicions even if the return ticket is within less than 6 months (but still lenghty stay). For instance in my case my first visit to the US was for 13 days and there was no problem with my entry. My second stay again short, around 2 weeks and it was ok.During my third visit in the US I had my return ticket after 4 months from my arrival there and they got suspicious about that at my POE in the airport .Hope this helps

Im not Romanian but my fiance is, and i have many many many Romanian friends here in the US and in Romania. Its always nice to see other Romanians. Lived in Romania for over a year, my son was made in Romania :) Id have to say Romania is my favorite place i ever visited in all my travels around the world.

Tara and Ed I followed the thread about your family`s reunion in the off topic and now I am hearing that you stayed in Romania for over 1 year.Think you`re doing great with your Romanian.....saw that in your timeline :D

Congrats for your beautiful family! (F)

  12. (F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F) Hello everybody...long time no see...I knew I couldn`t stay away from this thread forever (L)

I was here in the old thread, but since it happened to be there with some negative things that happened to me back in October 2005 (I wish those things had never happened) I just assumed that the thread came across as being negative and that`s why I stayed away from this one ...not to talk that I didn`t come here on VJ for personal reasons after October 2005...I only could check and see how people I knew a bit here were doing after the middle of May...and spent some time in off topic....could see there once in a while gabbyforever,Ionescu(congrats for having made it!),1LadyinRed,anca and Iulia(Ariel2005),and jaci...I am not sure if Selena ,anman, crislem, anais and others I knew from last year still hang out some time here.Just wanted to say BUNA to everybody.Ma bucur sa va salut, sper ca sunteti GREAT!

    QUOTE(alexcrv76 @ Jul 10 2006, 03:36 PM)

My mom just called...the bus with the team has been trying to reach the Circo Massimo downtown Rome since 6:30 pm Italy time more or less, it is now 10:20 pm over there and still they can barely move for all the people in the streets!!! They said at the Circo Massimo alone there are over 500.000 people waiting on them, plus all the other ones throughout the city. They were supposed to reach downtown so that they could have this live show on TV with them, but it seems like it won't happen for how congested the whole place is. The top of the bus is open and the players are all out there greeting the crowd, they have been escorted from the airport with the typical scooters, bikes, cars and people walking. My family said it is absolutely delirious and the most beautiful thing ever seen, even more than the last time in 1982...mymom said there are so many flags everywhere you cannot even see people at all!! Oh man, my skin is bumping! I just wish I could be there...

    P.S.

Looks like Gattuso's head was totally shaved on the airplane ride Funny fact about Gattuso: he was interviewed yesterday and he said he was so anxious and nervous about the final he fell asleep at 7 am since he had to use the bathroom 28 times!!! He said it was so bad he ended up to put an ice cube you-know-where...

Anyways here's a shot of Rome earlier today...

Nevermind the attachment...I don't seem to be able to make it work... Maybe later

Yes,amaizing atmosphere in Roma, they do a lot of coverage here in Romania about it...we very much connected with Italy (there are lots of Italians doing business here in Romania, the most numerous investors here ,and there are Romanian players nel Calcio as you know and so on ...not to talk about our history together,Romania is latin country too,the Romanian language very much similar to Italian,so yeah,we have special feelings for Italy(not sure about their feelings for us tho ).For me it`s even more special since I`ve worked with Italians for 12 years, and furthermore they are my best friends,I learned a lot from them, and I learned what kind of people Italian really are.So yes,I have no words to describe the emotions!

I am sorry you coudn`t be there Alexil! And I cannot help to not congratulate you for your little angel

Thank you so much, your support is so amazing I know a couple of Romanians who live in Italy -there are very very many-my dad's friend married this really sweet Romanian lady. I always enjoyed my time with them, her son and I almost dated too... Then he had to leave to go back to Romania and we kinda left it at that I also have to say that I love the way Romanian sounds, I studied foreign languages and the sound of it totally amazes me...it is sexy and so beautiful. I never visited the country but I definately plan on doing it once we move back to Italy, it is a little hard from the US

    Forza Italia again!!

:) So I see not only we are connected to you,you connected to us too ;) ... appreciation towards Italy goes beyond the emotional factor tho. It`s not that I am biased ( I am Romanian not Italian),it`s that I had the chance to learn some things about the Italian style in a few fields ...they really good at many great things they do.Soccer is only one field that proves it.
