  1. i am on army wife and was told that we get processed little faster.from what i read so far i understood that the spauses of deployed soldier, spouses living overseas may get processed faster.not shore if it's true or not.

i am filing in washington DC,which seems to be moving really really slow.i am not trying to cut in front of anybody and do not expect to move along faster then anybody else(since my hubby is not curently deployd(as of now) and we are state side.

i was just wondering about it.That's all.

try to call USCIS for expedite of your petition.. :)

  2. it may be.. did they have any item included in the checklist which was ticked?

either they have received ds230 first before AOS and/or vice versa..

give it a week first, then have ur partner (in the uS) Call NVC to check and verify...

    best regards

what it is said on the checklist which i copied above.. is the immigrant visa application part 1 and all the supporting documents.. which is on my understanding the whole ds230 and supporting documents... which my husband already sent with the aos..

  3. what a stressful to start the 1st day of december... i got this email form NVC.. a checklist.. where in fact.. we just send them together aos and iv with separate envelope last nov.25.. anyone here encountered here.. im freaking out.. :(

  4. go to uscis.gov, click on forms...then I-864, click on Instructions on filling out the form.

it says there, household includes him, you, dependent children, other dependents listed on his last income tax return and any immigrants he previously sponsored in an I-864 form that he is STILL OBLIGATED TO SUPPORT. ask your husband what the final divorce decree says about his obligation to support the ex-wife or if that ex-wife is now a US citizen, in which case her name does not need to be included.

they are divorce already, and i have a copy of the divorce decree and it doesnt say anything about support or what.. the decree is DISSOLUTION. and that's it.. what i want to know if he still needs to put it in the number of household where in fact they have a separate ITR for the recent year 2010..which was mentioned on the ITR on the 2010 the name and of the ex wife and seperate tax something..

  5. good day Vjers,

just wanna ask regarding the ITR of my husband because we dont know which to put and follow on the form I-864, on 2008 and 2009 he had declare with his previous wife.. and her sister.. and on 2010 her ex wife and him file for seperate ITR, i am not sure about what it is written but he showed me and that's what i understood, it is on the upper portion of the page and saying seperation of ITR and so on.. dont know what follows.. and still declare his sister and now my question is.. are we still gonna put the ex wife on the number of household? the are divorce already.. and is that gonna be a problem on our NVC processing and to my interview soon though we dont have a date yet? im just so worried about it..

and please explain what about the seperate ITR.. i dont understand.. hope to hear from all of you.. thank you.

  6. just follow this.. and all is well.

    Email DS-3032 form

From VjWiki - The Immigration Wiki

    Jump to: navigation, search

Many members are having success in emailing the NVC to choose their agent instead of sending in the DS-3032 via regular mail. Sometimes NVC sends an automated response upon receiving the e-mail but many times this feature does not work.

NVC takes from a few days to 2 weeks to send an email confirming receipt of the DS-3032.

The email template below complies with NVC e-mail guidelines and the content of DS-3032 Form.

Have your foreign spouse (beneficiary) send an email to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov with the following contents:

  7. Good day Vjers..

Just want to know if anyone here have encountered same situation... We pay our AOS last sunday Nov. 6 and it was IN PROCESS status, i was able to print also the cover sheet of AOS then i send DS3032 right away and recieved auto response then after 3 days... i checked on payment portal and the status of AOS is paid.. i also checked my email account and NVC sends me their acceptance of the DS3032 and sends me the invoice of the IV fee.. and Today nov.11 checked again payment portal and the status of the NOT PAID for the AOS.. and the IV fee which we didnt pay for it yet so its just okay.. but what about the AOS?? my husband told me that he wasnt been charged with $88 for the AOS fee..

so is that means we have to pay it again and it was a wrong move when we pay our 1st attempt? how about the cover sheet that i was able to print.. how about it? isnt that a receipt yet?

Hope to hear from all of you soon. thank you.

  8. Yes. I emailed my DS-3032 just a few minutes after we paid the AOS fee, and NVC accepted it. It's my understanding that you can do both simultaneously, since they take parallel paths, so to speak. (By they, I mean the processing of the AOS and the processing of the IV application.)

awww. thankyou! i am just so worried about it cause mu husband told me to wait until it is PAID status on payment portal.. but i still send it an hour after he pays the AOS.. cause for me why wait if you can send it right away.. so less time of waiting.

  9. Hi Vjers, i have this simple question which bothers me, we just got our NVC case number last friday, nov. 4 and pay AOS bill on sunday nov. 6 and an hour after i send DS3032, is that okay? even if the status in the payment portal is in process? or should i wait for it to be paid status and send it again.. i received a auto response right after i send ds3032..

    thankyou

  10. On the DD Form 1172, Section II, Dependant Information, Box 56 should display your date of marriage (YYYYMMMDD) and Box 57(Eligibility Start Date and/or Civilian Health Care Effective Date or Medicare Part A Hospital Insurance Start Date and/or Guard and/or Reserve-Start Date) should display your date of marriage (YYYYMMMDD). Essentially your date of marriage is the day your eligibility begins. Box 91 and Box 100 should have the same date (typically) which is the date the Service Member (Sponsor) signed the document and the approving authority (the person signing the document) verified the information. Hope this helps.

oh i see... so it doesnt mean the marital status date is the date of our marriage right? it means the date where my eligibility begins, am i right?? that's how the way i understand your reply.. thankyou so much.. this one is a big help.

  11. Hello Vjers!

I have a simple question that bothers me just right now,it is not about visa or what but anyone here who have applied for DEERS for enrollment in dependent id card? I saw the MARITAL STATUS DATE on the form DD1172 that my hubby sent to me is not the date of our marriage, but it was dated when it was sign by the official and applied and verified by deers in US.. and same date that ELIG ST/MC EFF DATE, which is i dont understand..

anyone here can clear this queries.. Thank you so much in advance :)

  12. I was deployed at the time I requested the expedite. They never asked for anything, but I am sure they could tell where I was calling from.

You guys will never know if you will get approved or not if you never send the requested evidence. The USCIS is very easy to get an expedite. The NVC wanted my deployment orders, proof of service letter, and a letter explaining why I was requesting the expedite.

he didnt send/fax any thing aside from the military id which they ask for.. and just called uscis and requested for expedite, then that's ir.. they emailed back after a day which i copied above and ask for the mil.id.. we are still very hopeful for the result..

  13. Just being in the Military? I have been in the Marine Corps,,, But, why the expedite? There is tens of thousands of

Military that will never be deployed,,, they are basically civilian jobs without the civilian pay.

Now if he has deployment orders,,, that is a valid reason. If that is the case, fax a copy of the orders along with the

    military Id.

Note: If the expedite is approved. You need to request expediting at the NVC again,,, From what I have read here at VJ.

    Semper Fi,

    Doug

    ,

    Hi doug

he is not being deployed, and he didnt fax any orders for deployment.. he called up and state some reasons about the expediting and uscis sends him an email which i copied above.. and ask him to fax his mil.ID..

  14. We didnt write any letter either.. we just called USCIS and told them about the situation in karachi with the killings and violence and said its even so bad its on the travelstate gov website and we wanted to request expedite... they gave me a reference number and took my email and then 4 days later we were approved expedite and they requested our case file for review... then about 24 days later we were approved the i130 and moved our case onto NVC...

so we just have to wait then right? uhhhh hoping for a positive outcome..

  15. SInce it looks like you are expediting due to the military reasons then it seems they lack one thing which is his military ID card... they are saying to fax this military card to the attention of officer Ake at the number above.

Evidently it wasnt included in the expedite request... thats all you have to do and then they can decide to either expedite or not.. but since ur asking for military reasons they want proof he is in the military.

We expedited with humanitarian reasons for karachi due to violence but didnt have to prove too much since it ws in there own travel warnings not to go there due to unrest but usually they ask for faxed info about the situation whether military, medical or humanitarian...

if youve already faxed it then all you have to do is wait.. they may not have gotten it right away... but they will dont worry

my husband just called uscis and didnt write a letter of request or anything from his commander or official.. i am worried it might get denied...

  16. Good day everyone, hubby is in the military and called USCIS for expediting I 130 petition and recieves this email and right away fax the military id.. anyone who recieves the same email below and what is your outcome after faxing and all?? and how to do you understand this email? hope to hear all from you. thank you. and Godbless.
