Hi Guys,
We are planning to go to London for our wedding anniversary, I'm a Filipina with a 10 years green card.
My questions are: Is there going to be a problem going to London even I'm a GC holder? Should I apply for a visa going to London?
Thanks in advance.

I lose weight here, I like Asian food, not much into american food. I found this good jap-thai restau, really good. And the fact that we don't have a maid so I have to do all the cleaning, laundry and such plus I'm working at home as well.

I probably will not...besides by the time I think of doing it again, they probably change the policies...different problems and level of stress again.

I got 3 hours stop over in Japan, no transit visa was needed.
-
And what about for the AOS? It expires in 6 months for USCIS or just for the consulate?
Just the Embassy, if the medical expired before the visa was issued then you have to do medical again.
-
Yeah Philippines...St. Luke...6 months is the medical expiration...
-
6 months is the expiration of the medical....yes 17 days...weekend is not included.
-
Yep due to namesake in NBI, was approved in my interview no additional documents requested but took 17 days to received the visa...my husband called USEM and I emailed USEM.
-
Have your fiance called them and articulate about the soon expiration of your medical and email them as well, it will help for sure...

I used google voice and still using it...try it

Welcome to the U.S., Misis Salome !
Having another Pinay here makes this country a better place.
Thanks Tahoma!
Just want to update you guys, I just received my green card two days ago.

What is the remark in her NBI?
-
My experienced with them was really good but I flown from Philippines to USA though.
-
I waited for my visa for like 17 days...weekends not included....have your husband call them...

The CFO is a pain but then it is also informative especially if your Filipina will be travelling alone to US. They give good information on what to do, etc etc.

Hi Guys,
Just want to let you know that today is my 11th day here in Florida, USA.
Never had any problem in my POE (Newark).
Thanks for all the support and encouragement.

One thing I can tell you, if you are prepared, the CO is also well prepared, seems that they already review your paper even before you stand before them for interview...but nothing to be nervous about if the relationship is genuine and you got all the necessary paper work, you will be fine.
-
They are ok...I just noticed that if the CO is a Filipino they tend to ask more questions while the american CO just have 2 or 3 questions...

Some good news if it is true. I am flying ANA and I heard they use terminal 3!
Yep, ANA is using terminal 3.
-
Yeah my ticket was purchase a month ago but still high and it is a one way ticket. I will flying at NAIA 3 though, ANA airlines, the new airport so I will not see how horrible NAIA 1 is.
-
I think you can ask help from CFO office. You are in what state?
The fiancee should buy you a ticket going back.
PLEASE HELP. He cheated on me and left me, ive only just arrived in the US!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG. Sorry to hear that. Call or email USCIS to check if they got the right address to send your GC. Be strong.
