Nov 17 was my POE and I got it like Dec 15.

no problem in bringing a bag, just make sure not to bring any electronic devices like cellphone or laptop they will not allow that inside the embassy.

Thats nice. My medical was two days...have to go back the next day for the results.

They used to take your passport but it was changed, I was surprised when I had my medical and they did not take my passport so I asked and they say I need my passport for my interview in USEM. They will put a sticker indicating about your medical at one of your passport pages anyway. Gudluck on your interview!

What we did was we printed it and have my husband signed it.

Yep you have to attend the CFO if you want to use you husband surname in your passport, that's what I did first, then once you got your visa you will go back to their office to get your CFO sticker, just make sure you will keep the CFO certificate (green one).

round trip is cheaper. We bought one way ticket going to US for the first time. I just bought a round trip ticket going back to the Philippines on 3rd week of Feb up to 2nd week of July. That's less than 5 months.

I got mine March 2011 and my interview was September 2011.

my visa expired the same the day my medical expired. I was hoping it was 6 month from the date it was issued though.

As far as I know, the USEM will be the one requesting the letter from NBI.

Nag try ka po ba mag online register sa St. Luke's? Ilang beses na ko nag try I cant seem to do it successfully? Is there any problem on their website registration page?

Don sa previous medical examination at SLEC naka * field sya, means required pero I haven't had that pa, I left it blank, pero when I preview it always say pls complete the following fields, pero wala naman naka lista... Did you face the same?

Yep I registered, much better if you registered so you don't need to fill up some forms. I never experienced any problem when I registered last year.

Can you put NONE or N/A to that required field?

sa mga recently nag pa medical po like last week, ilang day po ba kaya inabot? is 1 day enough to finish everything? uuwi pa kasi ako po ng probinsya sa bicol, balak ko kasi after ng medical uwi ng din agad ng probinsya? Makukuha ko po ba result in 1 day? Or kelangan ko pa bumalik the next day for another round of exam?

The next day you will know the result whether you pass or not, if not then you will be scheduled for sputum test for 3 days. If you pass then you will go to immunization room/floor.

Got my SSN on my 7th days after POE then after 27 days I received my GC.

I was there around 9 AM and finished before 12 noon.

Thanks Guys, When I get back in July, I will stay in US for another 3 months while applying for a re entry permit, we decide to stay in the Philippines for more than a year.

I will be 3 months here in US on February 17.

I need to go back to the Philippines due to my mother being sick, and my sister will be giving birth on March.

I'm thinking to stay in the Philippines for 5 months. Will I have a problem going back to US? I'm a 10 year GC holder.

Please I need your opinions.
