    well today I'm heading to see Dr.Cheema for my medical here in Surrey,BC.I'll give my review tonight.

      Results were to be picked up after 4 pm the following day but I arrived a tad early not knowing what the parking situation was going to be like and they were so accomodating and finished mine up while I waited and I was out of there and back to my hotel by 4 pm. The office is filled with kind, caring, competent staff.

      yes I have I received packet 3 by email, I axed it back with 15 minutes of receiving it, the emailed me packet 4 the following morning and my medical is Monday morning, amd my interview Oct 22

    We are preparing to meet in person in September (YAY!!!!!!) This will be our first time being together in person....does anyone have any suggestions or advice for the "things" we may need to do to be prepared for the filing the of our K1 visa paperwork, which we are doing as soon as I return back to the states!?!?!? We know we need to take pics of us together for Immigration, not that we would not already do that but that's one requirement needed.

      keep receipts of everything you do together, boarding passes, stamps in passport, hotel receipts. A family photo if possible.

    I went in to see if our petition was showing up on the USCIS site and yes it is there. AND it is showing ours actually was touched on March 22. Here's to hoping this attempt is speedier and has the desired outcome...lol

      this was just telling us we had been denied, which we already knew. But it was good to get the facts so start over.

    going back through the k-1 process again just means we have even more time to spend getting to know each other. It means a lovely vacation together outside the US. It means the application is alread partially processed as they have the info from before. I'm thinking POSITIVE thoughts here to hang on as we go back through the emotional rollercoaster

      Hey your b-day is 10 days after my honeybuns and the same year. Here we are going through this once again. Everything happens when it is time. If ours had gone through the first time I would not have been there to support mom when my stepdad passed away at the end of Sept. and then Mom dying Feb 2. what a freaking year . Whew. But we will both make it through. keep me updated

      question, What order did the docs get to you. did your doc you need to book medical arrive by email or mail and which one do you need for the medical and interview? Pack 3 or pack 4. Basically could you send me the chain of events after the consulate received your package?

    I wish I could shut out the number of days without NOA2 but it haunts me. 255 and counting, 78 days since USCIS received the document for RFE. Glenn and I had our SKYPE running for 84 hours 23 minutes 18 secs over this New Years weekend. I slept on my sofa to hear him breathing while he slept. We are missing each other terribly.

    Can the fact that i've been using a false SSN not someone else's but just a made up number, get me into trouble at the interview? i used it for 5 months, been married for 10 monts to a USC and am about to file my paper now that we have enough money to do so. Please help! any advice or similar experience?

      may I ask why you would do this? Can't think how tis will grant you any favours. You aren't allowed to commit fraud. They wont like it all.

    Frustrated: Have to take all the immunization again that I took 6 months ago in Brazil. It sucks!

      why can't you go get some blood work done that will tell you what you have been vaccinated against first. That would give you a legal document I believe. Something to check out first before putting your body through all that again.
