  1. Hello friends,

I went to the interview today with my 2 kids, everything went smoothly until final interview...I was so disappointed :( ..In my part everything was ok,but on my petitioner's part yes the consul not satisfied with his tax return and bank statement :bonk: ...He receives close to $2,500 a month but the consul looked on the other side how he can support his children and my children..To make the story short ,he told me to provide another evidence of his income...Im worried and hopeless right now, bcuz they didnt tell me if its denied or what? How much money he spent for medical and non refundable visa fee(for 3 )? Is anyone had the same experience? please share it with me. My fiancee told me to give him a call after the interview, I know he is asleep and yet this is not a good news ,so i decided not to call him and wait when he wakes up.Im depressed, sad, disappointed etc....After submitting the document they asked what is next?Is there any fiancee visa denied yet? Please tell me what will happen next if there's anyone had the same experience like mine at the interview...And congratulations to those who got approved today..I met one of the vj friends at the interview and she got approved  Congrats Mr. Smith ,u told me I might see/meet ur wife there, and yes I met her...Your wife will be there soon... After the long time waiting u finally have her soon. Not like me huhuhu...

  2. Unfortunately my wife did not pass the visa interview. She waqs denied for non-bona fides relationship.

I just could not believe it!

I should have known. I did not make enough effort to urge my wife to spend time preparing for the interview. The VO is probably not very satisfied with some of her answers.

I will have to spend a lot of efforts to fight this now.

Oh sorry to hear that...hope next time will go smooth ...God bless keep trying...

  3. Morning all, we have our interview coming up in a few days and while reviewing one question, although small, I dont know the correct answer. I have asked this question in the past, but got two responses, both opposite of one another, so going to try again. They ask for fianceee info, and one question is current status ie married, divorced, seperated, single. My finacee has had an annulment which to me would indicate to check off single, however it says "single(never been married). So I am alittle confussed as to what to check off. In the states annulement means never existed according to chruch, but ofcourse not to the state.. So I am unsure if we should put divorced, or single never been married.

Any of you that have actually been involved with a philipine annulment, please let me know what you put in this box, and did you have to then explain it during the interview. Once again thanks in advance,

    Kevin & Lenith

  4. She will be fine ,i had psychiatry evaluation bcuz my annulment proceedings stated that me and my ex were both incapacitated but then no psycho test for me,the psychiatrist who evaluated me was mean ,said something to me that has nothing to do with the evaluation that made me cry hard...I tell u just bring the proceedings of your fiancee annulment(the decision) and they will find out there if she needs evaluation and test.... Goodluck hope everything will be fine...

  5. My fiance will go for a medical exam for her pending K1 visa. Her marriage in the Philippines was annulled. The application at St. Lukes asks for status such as single, divorced, annulled, widowed, etc. Does anyone know if St. Luke's asks verbal civil status questions in depth or if it is just a form question on the application. Her minor child has the surname of the father listed on the birth certificate. The father has been absent and missing for many years.

  6. So we finally have an interview date, the 18th of November, and I was just wondering how long it typically took people to receive the visa after their interview? I heard there is an option to courier it to you, but I'm not sure how this works or how it affects the wait. I live in London so it doesn't have to travel far, but any experiences of processing times, or how long it took from the interview till having it 'in hand' would be most appreciated.

    Good luck everyone!

    goodluck....mine is on nov.2

  7. Just keep those receipts of money transfer and it can also be one of the proof of evidence of your ongoing relationship and also if u chatting and videocall do printscreen and u can show to the embassy, and also pictures of both of u together.

  8. Would the following be considered Evidence or just raise a red flag:

Shortly after first meeting my Fiance (Feb 09) I would transfer small amounts of money ($50) to her every 4 months. She used this amount to load up on SIM cards for her cellphone which was our backup communication method when Skype wasnt available. I used Moneygram, and since I still have the transfer records (Which show bothof our addresses) I was going to submit them as evidence of an ongoing relationship.

It made me wonder if a CO would see this possibly as a red flag. Money transferring between parties, even though very small amounts, could be viewed in a negative context depending on how paranoid the CO may be.

What do you folks think? Considering that this is HCMC, would these docs help or harm?

    Thanks !

  9. prayers go out to you...your interview will go smoothstar_smile.gif

    thank you aimievsgarnet...God bless

Maybe you need to practice to remember what would CO asked you. I think your Pinay girl friends already give you some inputs about what the questions possibility would come up. Practice makes things easier. Good luck and we pray for you,...good.gif. Be positive. If you are nervous, fear, or worried, massage all your fingers until warm when you are in waiting room (I've learned this from chi-self massage by Mantak Chia).

Thank you girlfromcelebes definite will do massage my fingers....smile God bless

  10. Hi there! Ok, Sis I will pray for you! I really understand how you feel. But as soon you stood in front of the Consul, I'm sure you will feel relax the moment he or she greets and smiles at you. Its just like a casual conversation with one of your friends or relatives. Just say what you know and try to smile. Prayers will help a lot too. God bless you. I'm sure you will make it. :)(F)

thank you sis,God bless...I know your goodluck wish and prayers will help alot ...

  11. Careful that you have the correct day of the week. Novemeber 2, 2011 is next Wednesday. You mentioned in your post that your interview is "Monday, Nov 2". I'm sure you know what day/date your interview is and just typo'd it here. Just want to be sure you don't show up the wrong day (I think its Philippines holiday Monday Oct 31 and Tuesday Nov 1, anyway and USEM closed right?)

Anyway - Best of wishes and God bless!

Oh Teddyhoney thank you for the reminder , thought it will be monday,lol....I looked on the calendar and yesit is wednesday. My bad

Just trust in Him coz He knows whats good for you. Surrender all your worries, fears, and dream in Him and let his hands of miracle work just according to His will. When I went at the interview, I know I am prepared, but as I went there, I told myself, I will do my best but whatever the result is it is His divine will..come what may everything happens for a reason. Stay positive and keep your faith high up..nothing is impossible to those who believe :D

keeping you in our prayers..and Goodluck!

Thank you Dean_de ....all your prayers help a lot i know... God bless

You can contact them anytime and they will reply in a day or two.........."IVManilareplies@State.gov".............Good Luck!

P.S. I would send your Fiancee the original, thats just my opinion!

Yes but mine was electronic bank statement so i forwarded it to her as is. U think that would be fine?

  13. yes I can say he is mean bcuz he never smile at me,he said words that has nothing to do with the evaluation like "i can call the mental hospital and ask them to pick u up bcuz it was written on ur annulment " i tried to explain to him the passive-aggressive is not insane and he insist"no! u have mental problem. When i tell this story to my fiancee he was very mad that the psychiatrist should not say that, its sounds like he threaten u thats what my fiancee told me,yes the psychiatrist told me "I dont think the embassy will allow someone who has mental problem to go to their country. It sounds like the denial of my visa. That made me cry. Anyway i will try to have interview and we'll whether the embassy deny or approve my visa...Thank u for sharing something.

  14. hi sis,you so mean a male psychiatrist interviewed you in st.lukes?and told you about those kind of words that made you cried?###### im glad i talked to a very nice lady psychiatrist when i went there oct.4,she interviewed me and my cousin also to asked many questions about me,but never said anything that made me worry,i cried when she asked about what happened about me and my ex husband and about my father.by the way,iam the respondent so i guess everybody knows that im the one that is said to be psycholgical incapaciated but thats not ###### true bcoz my ex husband did that just to marry his mistress! im done with my psych.test in peps and then called them earleir to ask when they will send that to st.lukes,i hope, wish and pray that everything will be fine and good for me,i have kidz also that already done with their medicals and im the one that still waiting for the result.

  15. You got a great memory teapotgurl1983 :D Yeah I was annulled and they asked the court document of my annulment ( Final Decision) and they read it and asked me direct if I was psychologically impaired. Of course I told them no. He asked who filed for annulment and told them it was me. They asked for the reason and I told them the truth behind my annulment. What I told in front of the court is what I hold true wherever I go. He said, it was good that the psychological incapacity was not filed before me, or else it could get me into a problem. What problem he meant?? I don't know coz I didn't bother to ask. But all I was thinking is that they may need psychological evaluation if and when the other party filed psychological incapacity on the K1 applicant.

All i can say is, I do believe that St. Lukes and the US embassy are fair enough in treating case after case. I think they will let you undergo psychiatric evaluation and from there they will decide. Just have faith and stay positive.

it is just SLEC procedure but u will do fine... u need to take that test for them to have a new report to be submitted to the US embassy...

    thank u very much
