  1.

Bank statements just show what you have and cash flow it doesn't show where it came from. That is why you submit pay stubs and an employment letter.

To answer your original question, yes people still get tuned down after submitting the documents. One friend got hit for the same thing. Financial records and after submitting them a second time was turned down.

  2. You know what, messybrownhair (click the link- she's another vj member) was also on K-1 visa, and her fiance made $19,950 for 2010 but did not get co-sponsor. Why don't you try contacting her if she's willing to share any input. Try to read her blogs too so if you can get any idea.

ok teapot for sure i will contact her and ask some questions about what did they do to get her approved.Thank u very much.

  3. Hi there, "trulyinlove", I have read all your posts and all the replies. I know how you feel dearest. At this point, since you have already exhausted everything, all the possible things to do like submitting co-sponsor affidavit, for now, I think you just have to pray and cry out with God. Pray hard to God and believe that only God can make miracles and He knows what is really best for your case. Pray for God's will and whatever the outcome will be, just accept it and believe that there is still other ways, God will make it happen in HIS time. But, never lose HOPE, pray that God will touch the heart of the Consul who is going to review your case. Pray for God's favor to be upon you. Nothing is impossible with God. If that is God's plan for you, He will make all ways possible. Just keep going ! Love your Fiance forever, and be POSITIVE.:) I would love to hear the good news later then. Take care ! :)

  4. Hi sassy, the reason why ? they asked me more current income from my fiancee. Dont know why the consul asked that when he has his bank statement(until month of september) for past 2 years and tax return for past 3 years. My fiancee makes close to $2,500 a month and they said about 125% poverty level.Im worried if my application get denied bcuz heard from some of the vj members that the embassy won't accept 90% of cosponsor. We sent my cosponsor's AOS and tax return bcuz im sure my fiancee cant provide current income anymore since his bank statement is current.Last month of his current income was september 2011. Please update me what will happen to your application. And to those who got 221g that went through it please share the result, whether denied or approved.Goodluck to all of us.Very lucky those who got approved on the day of the interview. Not like us who got 221g.lol We dont know yet if they will deny or approve us u know.

  5. Manila USEM seldom denies immigrant petition(k1,CR1), based on stories here, VJ interview reviews posted and from my personal experience, I find it amusing that the CO's would not even draw line as to what is age gap acceptable (for all they know most women/girls here are just hooking up just to reach the land of stars and stripes. What is very common is the issuance of 221g which is the additional document being asked to help you issued the visa like my case. You provide those and you get it. One thing you have to know though Manila consulate 95% won't accept co-sponsor for K1 visa unlike CR1/IR1 petition. Yes I think you can be denied if your fiance AOS won't satisfactorily reach the requirement.

  6. he is out in the army, he has housing allowance from the VA(veterans affairs)close to $2,100 a month non taxed income bcuz he is a full time student and will be graduating on November 9,and he gets paid from the reserves $450 a month which is a taxed income. So he makes $2,000 something a month. What we did we have a cosponsor now and i dont know if they will accept or not...sigh....hope they will.

  7. Well,

Sounds like your fiance did not show sufficient income to sponsor you. You said his schooling was paid for by the Army, and if he is enlisted then he only needs 100% of poverty level for you and him (about $14,000 +/-). If he is no longer in the Army then he needs 125% of poverty level (for you and him is about $18,000).

PI is a unique Embassy because they "sometimes" accept a co-sponsor. It seems like they have no set rule for this they decide on a case by case basis.

I wish I could give you a better answer, but this is how the Embassy in PI operates. They may OR may not accept your co-sponsor, and if not you'll have to reapply when your fiance earns above the required income.

    I wish you the best

  8. Hi Guys! Reading all the replied here makes me feel more confused of the USem procedures...... tsk..tsk....some they kept the passport and others they gave it back just like mine.....And how come it take so long like months of reviewing it....isn't so unfair that the visa application was already paid and i guess the applicants has the right to know as soon as possible if it is really approve or not and not giving any false hope :( Well. let us just all be positive and hope for the best.....May God bless US all....

  9. yes i know its their decision what im asking is "there's an applicant in K1 visa(fiancee) were denied after submitting the documents? anyway the documents they were asked was current income of my fiancee. The consul asked me that when we already submitted latest bank statement and latest tax return on the date of interview. So my fiancee doesnt have more to show to them(current income)that they asked for bcoz we already submitted the latest tax return and bank statement(till month of september) So what we did instead, we sent them his parents tax return and their I-134 as a cosponsor. I dont know if they will accept that when they asked was the current income,i was wondering what curret income u know, they already have the bank statement till month of september. They know my fiancee was a full time student but get paid from it(from the army).Do u think they will accept cosponsor?i will call them anyway.

  10. 10/27/11- interview k1 and k2 [221g they want me to send NBI with aka married name]

11/03/11-called the slec and US embassy

also the embassy told me that they still didnt receive my medical result that time,i finished my medical oct 20 and my interview was oct 27 so they have 7days to verify it before sending it to usem, but when i called the slec after the day of my interview i asked them as to why they didnt send it before that day they told me bcoz of verification! bullshit!i had delays before then till now i still have it! delays delays!i also called usem to ask if they received my nbi with aka via 2go,the lady i talked there said that they already have it but the medical,i dont know!its hard to connect to usem numbers i took me a thousand times before some1 answered my calls!but i noticed that other women here, they sent their passport together with the 221g documents that needed, but me,the embassy didnt give my passport back to me,they keep it together with my kidz passport when i talked to the lady in window when she gave me the 221g paper.

  12. Ohhh.. yeah. Then it's wrong. Like the person above "teapot" posted, it means before this point in time so as you said, that sentence means she was before, but isn't anymore. The correct word would be "even", not until. So "Palawan is beautiful even now"... though even that implies there some incident that means she might not be but is beautiful in spite of... so I would just say "Palawan is beautiful".
