  1. Your welcome. I dont plan on getting any letter, I will be there to get my fiance and stepson in january and we will have the annulment docs with us. Phil is not a parental rights country only problem I know of is if shared custody. If you re not flying with your fiance be sure to read up on what will be needed to board the plane tho.

Yes I'll make sure i have my annulment docs with me.Thank u very much :)Have a safe flight

  2. There are a lot of cases like you leaving PI with their kids that experienced no problem at all... I am sure you will be fine... Have a nice trip!

wow this is such an encouragement,I will not leave the country if I cant take my kids with me...thank you very much...God bless

  3. Standard annulment in Phil awards custody to mother. Phil is not a parental rights country. If unmarried custody is automatically with mother. So unless your annulment states shared custody I see no problem maybe we will hear from some who have flown out of manila soon.

with that said I can accompany my kids w/o his consent right? I have my kids since we separated and he never support them since.Thank you for sharing your knowledge regarding standard annulment in Phils.this help a lot to answer my question. And hope there will be some member that experience like this before who already in US.Hope they share their experience.Again thank u very much.

  4. I am not familiar with the rules and regulations in the Philippines regarding travelling and child custody but I do know in Canada, I had to have proof that I had custody of my son and that my ex had NO parental rights before they would let me leave the country.

If my ex had had his parental rights, they told me they would need to see a notarized letter from my ex stating I was allowed to leave the country with my son before they would allow me to leave.

Good luck with everything, I'm sure someone will come along with Philippine's specific information to help you.

Thank you for the quick response,I will ask my lawyer who did my annulment, what i can do.Thank u once again :)

  5. hello,I'm worried !!! Our flight is on Dec.8 and I read that some airport check other parent consent,if u are the wife who will be flying u need father's consent that let your children to fly with you. Or is there any alternative that i can show to them? Thank u in advance

  6. This thread got hijacked by Trulyinlove and nearly confused me, if you have a question start your own thread so the OP can get the answer they need as well.

Wow! sorry if its hijacking, is there's any rules in Visajourney that u can't share ur experience, ask and comment on others thread? Im seeking also for help and if its related on what im seeking for then i guess I can ask right? I didnt know there's mean people like u in this community. But i guess there's also people who are always willing to help others not just criticize what they see and hear.

  7. I think we have the same case, My fiance just started his job recently but its more than enough to support me. Now, based on what you said, I think I am in trouble too. Did your fiance meet the required amount for the 2010 income tax return which is around 18k? (not sure if this is the correct amount). If not maybe that is the reason why u got denied.

Ah sorry to hear that, I wanna share my experience on the day of my interview, the consul didnt approve me either but he told me "we will figure this out 'and they gave me 221g,asking for more documents to be submitted. I need to submit more documents.Which I did, I sent the docs tuesday.Im waiting still for the outcome. Can u please tell us if they did not give u 221g? bcuz if they did then its not denied ...I didnt say i will get approved with the documents I submitted but there's chances if we submit what they asked for u know.

  9. Hey i just want to know if anybody here experience denial of visa due to insufficient income tax return of their fiance. Do i need to file I-601 for them to review our case? What is the best thing to do? Pls help i was so frustrated with the consul that interview me. M fiance is unemployed for the early part of 2010 but in june 2010 he have found job and its paying him enough to support me but the consul insist his not earning good money. ####### is wrong with them?

  10. Today is 120 days and still no NOIR has been sent to me. I called and talked to a representative there, and she assured me that someone will contact me in 15 days....It would be a nice birthday gift if I could receive it by my birthday (Nov. 17th). Continue to pray for me. I got a letter from them in July it said that got it back from USCIS and that they are reviewing it and I should contact them in 120 days. The representative said she was sending an inquiry to the USCIS that was handling my review so maybe I will hear from them in 15days or sooner. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of treatment? Any advice is appreciated.

dont lose hope and be positive ...Im waiting too mine is under review.Hope it will have best result.Goodluck
