    Six months in and last night he verbalized "...I want to do my job as your husband." Two months ago this might have impressed me. Today it just pisses me off.

      It dawned on me the other day after having a powwow with Prince that being a husband and being a wife is a continuous learning project.When he got off that plane he in "his mind" he thought he knew what a husband is supposed to do and how to act and mostly what me as a wife should be doing and or not saying...

      In my mind I thought my husband should still be that sweet talking, ever soothing my soul and almost perfect man he was when we were on web cam or when I was in Nigeria. Truth is neither one of us truly know how to be a husband or a wife because we are learning each other first.

      with each passing day I find out something I love about him just like he find something he loves about me...flip the script and the same applies to what we hate about each other and in the middle of it all....we find a way to to mesh both the likes and dislikes. It's a hard road dealing with the culture imbalance. What is even harder is change...yea we never what to lose ourselves in change but in Marriage, there must be some transformation and some sacrifice..(more yes more)sacrifice and...
