    Carly and I first met when we worked in a Summer camp together in West Virginia in 2008. After the Summer we had fallen in love and when she came to visit that Christmas we decided to start dating 'officially'.

    After nearly 3 years on long distance, multiple trips to Scotland, Northern Ireland, West Virginia and South Africa I proposed on 14th June 2011, at camp where we met.

    We are planning a wedding at our camp this Summer and can't wait to have the first obstacle of NOA2 out of the way. Bring on the wait and bring on a life with my Love...

    EAD card along with advanced parole received and after spending a long and horrible 4 hour wait in the DMV today I now have a West Virginia Driving License... now to start life...!

      Wow! So you have the final License now or a permit? What's the difference anyway? Job search is going ok, I find some jobs to apply to at least. I can't apply to State jobs until I have all my diplomas and transcripts evaluated in US equivalent though... I'm working on it but it's going to take weeks. And you?

      No difference except that a permit only lasts 3 months so in 30 days i'll apply for my full license which should last much longer. Job front is overwhelming, have applied to the substitute teacher register so will see how that goes. I got my transcripts evaluated by AACRAO, they did a fairly good job although it took about 3 months for it to come through... same as everything over here! Good luck and keep me posted on any job success!
