Oh, We've started processing all these things. But we are not in hurry to get married very soon. We just need becareful to prepare everything we need for K-1. I know it takes whole times to do. But it gets worth if we well prepared.. Anyway, if you don't mind, can you tell me what's the title of the song and who sang it?
The song title is เพลงของเธอ ( Pleng Kaung Tur) by ปาน ธนพร (Parn Tanaporn) She's one of the best Thai singers... has amazing voice!

good luck w/ the interview!!!!!!!!!! hope it goes smoothly!

I think as long as your green card isn't expired.. You should be fine... don't wait too long, i heard the cost goes up every year or two?
-
omg! I'm so sorry to hear that I totally understand what you're going through... Everyone has a story.. and this might be a test for you to build your strength... I really hope things get better.... <hugs>

Hi, I do like the song on your profile. Even I don't understand (help me better with translation though), but it is really touching... best luck for both of you. You are both make a cute couple..
My translation doesn't make too much sense... My fiance would have translated this better since he grew up in Thailand... You're right about how touching it is... When I first heard it.. I was like "omg! i have to play this song at my wedding!" heheehhe when are you sending in your application? you have no timeline..
I'm a supervisor at night on my main job, so since he is 6 hours ahead it allows me the luxury of calling him or using messenger on my phone
Gah.. that's nice! I work regular shifts..
Welcome to VJ and good luck with the process!
Thank you! You too!

This is definitely a long process. I stay busy by working a lot of hours. I plan to take about 3 weeks off from work when my fiance finally gets here!
I'm thinking of getting another part time job but my fiance told me not to. Since our time difference won't let us talk to each other that much.. if i get another job then no communication time.. If he gets here, I might want to take some time off as well!!! hehehe if I think positive thoughts, I'm happy.. but when i think about how long this process is, i'm getting moody! haah
Hello Joonphon, welcome to VJ!
Thank you!

I read something that Gary and Alla posted a few years ago that USCIS shifts their workers around? read the first part of the his post. Here's the link My link
hwwh never mind.. i think they just shift around different applications to the employees... sighs..
-
Since this is state specific, do you think it has to do with California's budgetary problems ?

oh okay.. Thank you for the info! I really hope they're not accusing me of lying or anything like that..

Totally agreed w/ cupcakes! We're now in our 4th month of waiting.. especially for my RFE.... after our 5th month, going to call them for sure...
-
Congratulations!!!! Hope you get your passport soon!

It's been more than 3 months since we sent in our application. Today after rechecking all the documents. I realized that I have answered incorrect year for my occupation start date. What should I do next? I also know I will get RFE because about a couple months I realized I forgot to send in my proof of name change. If I get RFE for name change can I also send in the correct G-325A w/ document of name change? I was so sure I got everything they ask for but now I'm really worried.

Congrats! and good luck w/ the next steps!

I noticed that as well. since they need his signature, I'm thinking I can fill out the form for him and print it out and scan it and email it to him... then he can print and sign it.

You are proposing fraud. Be prepared to be told that bluntly. It is a fact, not rude. One COULD consider it rude for you to come here and ask how to skirt around the law. It is, in fact, against the TOS rules
If your mother was injured on the job she has workman's compensation and that counts as income. Otherwise, plan on returning to the US and getting a job OR getting another co-sponsor. Sounds like you planned for ways to get around just about everything, but eventually you get in line like everyone else. If you thought you were going to do an end around for an easy route, you were mistaken. And if you marry in Mexico then the visa to have him come here is even more difficult.
LOUD AND CLEAR!!! Mucho gracias!!!!

It sounds you don't understand what does it mean to show proof of income. They ask you to show them how much you're making each year. If you're not making any then you should ask someone who's willing to show how much money they're making and it has to be above the poverty guideline.Find a job asap. Doesn't matter how much you're making. Then ask your mom to be your co sponsor. These two things are not hard at all.

congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking at VSC and I'm like "oh how i wish they rerouted mine to VSC instead of CSC!" I'm hoping, they'll shift their workers to CSC in Oct so that they can start approving our application!
-
It can go either way. It can say initial review or pending for years after you get the visa like what happened with Karee or they can update the website as being approved when they approve it like what happened with me. I think every case seems to be different.
oh okay. I hope they update mine but at the same time it doesn't seem to be matter as long as I get the hard copy of NOA2 soon. heeehhe
btw.. you're in MN? me too!
-
im fine with old adjudicators but the thing that bothers me is that they all seem to be on a vacation or something
hahahha you know what? you're right! they probably on vacation! Especially during the summer? lol
-
101 days later and still no NOA2... On one hand I'm so sad that we haven't gotten it yet, but on the other hand WE'RE SO CLOSE. Seriously, I can feel the NOA 2 in my hand. Come on CSC, you can do it!
Yeah! it's good that you're very optimistic! I need to have that positive thought in my mind too!
