  1. Hi joonphon,

Looks like our approval dates and card mailing dates are same. Did you get any tracking number for the card? It says "Card was mailed with today's date" in USCIS website but no USPS tracking number. Is it showing the same for you or did you get a USPS tracking number? Please let me know.

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi SS24,

We just received the letter stating that our application has approved and the green card will be mailed w/in 60 days. No tracking number or anything. When I checked my case status on USCIS website, it states "On February 18, 2016, we mailed your new card for Receipt Number WACXXXXXXXXXX" and to call if we don't receive it by March 19th, 2016.

  2. First of all Congratulations to you! My husband also received a letter yesterday regarding his AOS being approved w/o us having to go through an interview! I was going to ask if I am missing something but same as you I am very happy not having to go through another step!

My question is, what's next??? Removing Condition? But before that if his work permit expires, does he have to reapply for it again even though he has permanent resident card?

  4. Do you habe their number? We didn't make our appointment today..

AHhhhhhhh I do. We went in today and the Civil surgeon is on vacation! Won't be back until the end of the month! So I'm going to the one in Apple valley. It's going to cost us $232.00. I'm getting frustrated and I don't really care anymore. I just want to get everything done because my husband really wants to go to work.

Oh here's the address and number that would cost 100

  5. we only did webcam on windows live messenger and gtalk. We didn't send them our conversation (if we did it'd be thousand pages) but we've been saving our screen shots for each day for the past year.. so there were about 300pages of our screen shots.... and Phone bills.. i think there were about 200 pages for the past couple years, I sent 15 pictures to my fiance so that he can show them at the interview,10 emails ( we didn't email each other that often) and also a couple snail mails. That's pretty much it.

  6. I think most of the VJ members are doing everything on their own. If you have a clean case, most of us would suggest you to do it on your own. Unless you don't have time or ability to fill out our own information or go to the post office. I never hired anyone before, from my understanding if you hire someone they basically just fill out the form for you and send it to the post office. That's pretty much their jobs. You still need to find all the proofs and go to the interview on your own. Sometimes the lawyers are not clear about what proofs you should look for so if you give them the wrong info, they'll just send in the info anyway and then wait for the embassy/uscis to write you RFEs and later will tell you that "oh you need this" just so that you give them more work to do and pay them more. IMO, if you have a clean case why not do it on your own. save you lots of money and energy to deal w/ lawyers later on....

  7. Just fill out a new form, date, and sign. Then when you go to the interview give it to them, tell them you made a mistake when you sent in your I-129f. I wrote the wrong hiring date on my g325a for I-129f, when my fiance went to his interview, he gave them the correct one and tell them to disregard the old g325a. Same thing w/ his parents' birthdays, he wasn't sure about the dates so we just put unknown for the first time we filed, then during the interview he gave them another one. I'm not sure about others' experiences, for mine it was fine.

  8. Exactly the same, except that we had

United States Department of Homeland Security

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)

    P.O. Box 660151

    Dallas, TX 75266

not California Service Center...don't know whether it's that big a deal! Oh oh!!! Ours was also "Dear Madam or Sir", but yours is "Dear Sir or Madam" enough joking....I really don't know what is their problem with your letter, it is exactly identical to ours!

P.S: you might wanna correct your Word file...it's not a wise idea just to highlight the names with black! It can be un-highlighted easily !

Holy sh#@ totally forgot about that part! let's hope not a lot of people opening my file and un hightlight it!

  9. My question is, is your fiance working now? If so, does his income meet the guideline? If it does, he can just fill out I-134 include a statement from employer and recent pay stubs. However if you want to be safe, your cousin should also fill out form I-134, statement from employer and last year tax transcript from IRS (order from IRS website super easy to use). That's pretty much what i sent my fiance for consulate in Bangkok, went to interview and no issue about affidavit of support.
