  1. OP if you do not like the laws of this country, why bother trying to move back here. You could have applied for a reentry permit, but chose not to, so why should you be allowed easy entry now. Your children and husband who are US citizens are free to come here and are not being denied entrance. You seem to think that the laws should not apply to you, because you are rich.

  2. Hi everyone,

I just wanted to give some info here for vermont center july filers.

I received my NOA on July 27 2015, biometric on august 27 2015, and today April 20, I was very surprised (!!) to receive my approval for my ROC. (date of decision: 15 of April)

It took less than 9 months?! when i know that some June filers and may filers are still waiting..? I was shocked.

Anyway, just wanted to give some hopes here.

    Best and keep faith.

    CONGRATS!!!!

  3. Hi. I sent my papers on July 20. They received them, i went for biometricks and almost 9 months later still nothing? Cannot even do online request for my status because there is an info saying the case number doesnt match the form which is weird bcuz it is I751.

Anyone has the same issue? My one year extension will expire and i still wont receive the answer,... :)

Try the number you received on the biometrics appointment, this is the one that brings up info for us.

  4. You are not alone we are also feeling a little stress at this point. All though the process up to this point everything has always went very smooth and in a timely or early than expected manner up until now. I had planned to travel this summer but don't feel good about traveling with an expired greencard.

July 2015 filer here for Vermont. There was just an update dated January 31, 2016 that Vermont is working on ROC for April 13, 2015, so a little closer to us. We are anxious here as well. Really hoping to hear something soon.

  5. Hey guys! I really need your advice. So immigration asked for lease agreement on both our names. We don't have it due to lack of a good credit. Any ideas how to write explanation letter? Thanks

My husband is not on the lease for our apartment. They would not add him when we moved in, as he was not a permanent resident and then when he received his 2 year greencard, his credit still was not established, so they would not add him still. We are now in the process of looking to buy a house or condo, so we don't have him added, as it will "change" the lease terms and stick us with another year in this apartment.

What we did (for both AOS and ROC) was have the apartment management company write a letter with a current date stating he has lived at the apartment. For ROC we included both letters and awe also included a statement with the explanation above. We had no problem with AOS (had interview) and n ow are just waiting for his ROC to be approved.

  6. The one extension is for processing of the removal of conditions- the 10 year greencard. It allows you to continue working and acts as the greencard so that you may also travel internationally. You should get a another notice for the bio-metrics. Most do not receive any notice after this until the 10 year greencard is approved, an RFE is sent, notice for an interview or a denial. This process can take a year or more in some cases. WE filed in July 2015 for my husband's and have not heard anything yet, other than the first NOA1 and then the bio=metrics a month later.
