Hello!
...figure some of you might have some advice since im sure youve been to nica a few times...
im planning on going back in February of next year - my question is: when do you think is the best time to purchase the flight - when would i get the best deal? should i wait till after the holidays? or will that be too close to time of flight so the price would go up?
ive been looking quite a bit and have seen them as high as 900 and as low as 600...should i just buy it the next time i see one around 600? whats your experience? when is the best time to buy and whats the lowest youve seen? Any advice or opinions are appreciated!
Thanks so much!!

I forsee a posible mistake about the Divorce Decree from the previous Marridge. His Signature is not required but what is : A Seal/Stamp from the Courthouse and Initialed and/or signed by the County Clerk attesting he is legally divorced and free to marry. A copy is no good. It is a copy of the termination of the previous marridge with appropriate seals/stamps. His signature is not required. An Original document is required. Helps avoid an RFE and time delays.
thanks for your warning!
But, In the directions from the Uscis website it says "Copy of the final Divorce Decree" I havent read anywhere that I would need the "Original Divorce Decree" but I have read that I should only send originals where it specifically says to...
anyone else have opinions on this?

Okay, so just to make sure...my fiance should send me the following with original signatures:
-Letter of Intent
-G325A
-Previous Employment 'attachment'
anything else?? would he have to sign a copy of the divorce decree also?
Hoping to have him only have to make one trip to the post office - kinda hard considering he works on a cruise ship!
thanks again!

Hello! I am just about to email the forms that my fiance will have to sign and mail back to me...so before I do this I just want to double check:
-If his previous employers/residences need an additional sheet - I would write 'see attachment' in the box and provide an additional sheet...but does he have to sign and date the 'attachment' or only the G325 form?
I've been searching the forum and am finding conflicting answers...what do you guys think?
Thanks!

Hello! I have called USCIS and obviously did not receive any answers
...so I need your guys' wonderful advice again!
*My first question is about numbers 11 & 12 on the 129-F - My fiance currently works on a Cruise Ship that ports within the US, so I know that I should say YES to number 11...and Im thinking that for number 12 I should write 'Crewman for XXXX Ship* (Im confused because it says 'Fill ONLY if your fiance is with you in the US at the time of filing' -- he is in US but not WITH me) so whats your input on that one?
--- Also, he doesnt have an i-94, but he does have an i-95 for working on the Ship...should I put that number instead of i-94? does this sound correct? If so, should I then include a copy of his 1-95?
*I know I have asked this one before but still havent received any concrete answers -- Should I put his home address as his current address even though he will be living on the Cruise Ship for 9 months?
*Lastly, I work two part time jobs which do add up to more than the needed $18,xxx/year --- the question is: Does the fact that they are both 'part time' and I am not actually 'guaranteed' a certain amount of hours have any affect on the outcome, even though I will make enough?
As always, any thoughts, opinions, or advice is always appreciated!
Thanks!

My man works on a cruise ship that goes from Ny to the Bahamas, they are on their way back to NY now! He is basically floating right alongside the storm
Thinking nice thoughts for you, Hope everything is ok!

This happened to me too...verrry frustrating! It just kept saying validating even after I had opened the email and confirmed registration. Basically I ended up just waiting a week until my username/password wouldnt even work anymore - and then I re-submitted it! This time it worked!

Please help!! Should I use the actual mailing address of the Cruise Ship?? It is of course a US mailing address...so would that be confusing as my fiance is from Nicaragua...? Has anyone had a similar experience? ANY advice or ideas are much appreciated! THANKS!!

Hi!
1) My fiance is currently working on a cruise ship - what do I put for his current address on the 129-F?
2) His ship is currently sailing out of New York and goes to Florida and Bahamas...would this apply to question 12 on the 129-F?
3) Also, I used to work on a ship - what should I put for address on the G325-A when listing my previous addresses as to not leave a gap in time?
4) Last one...I know I put None where it asks for A#, but couldnt find an answer to this simple question - do I actually print with ink in the heavy bordered box or do I type that and only sign with ink?
Thanks!

ADVICE NEEDED! #12 on 129-F
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
Posted
Hello!
I am still looking for help with #12 on the 129F!
My fiance currently works on a cruise ship, therefore I will say 'YES' to #11 and put 'CREWMAN' in the open space of #12.
The part that Im questioning is the Arrival/Departure Record (1-94) Number...
He doesnt have an I-94. He does have an I-95 so I will write his arrival date and date of expiration...but do I need to put a number in the opening for I-94 number? The number from the I-95 doesn't fit properly within the open spaces...so Im thinking that I leave that blank considering he doesn't have an I-94?
What do you think? Does anyone have experience with this? If not, any advice is appreciated!
*Is there any reason why I should include a copy of his C1-D visa?
thanks again!
