  1. Hello

I have made 2 trips to Istanbul on Turkish airlines. They have a lot of newer airplanes. The planes are a lot nicer than they have in the United States. I flew on an airbus from Chicago in 2009 and 2012. The staff is very friendly. Most flight attendants speak English and Turkish. Istanbul airport is very easy to navigate. I assume the flight would be to Ataturk airport which is on the European side of Istanbul. The signs are in English at the airport. I don't know if you have to recheck your bag.

  2. I just called USCIS on Friday and talked to a Supervisor. I was told that CSC is working on April petitions. I was also told that the website is not working properly and you may not see an update on the website. You might want to call USCIS. I find that it is best to hold on the line until you are transferred to a live person. Do not push any buttons. I asked to speak to a supervisor since the level one CSR's read off a script. Good luck!

  3. Hey Everyone,

I am currently 7 weeks pregnant (got pregnant while I was visiting my Fiance to apply for K-1...big woops lol)...I got my NOA1 July 14th. I was wondering if anyone has an idea of how long it takes for AOS because our baby is due end of April next year but I am worried I will not be able to have the baby in Texas because of insurance reasons etc or can I still be covered under my Fiance's insurance as long as we can prove we are married...any thoughts?? I know this isnt DIRECTLY K-1 but I am hoping that all the timelines work out etc..

    THANKS!!

If you marry your fiance and he has group health insurance through his employer, you can be covered under his policy. There is no pre existing for pregnancy under group health insurance in the USA. I worked in medical insurance for 22 years and they made pre existing for pregnancy illegal years ago. The baby would also be covered.

  4. Hi Everyone-

We are planning to visit Brazil and are finding that the prices have gone up exponentially since our last visit there about a year ago. We are wondering if anyone has some tips for locating websites or travel agents that can help us out. We would like to fly from the US to Brasilia or Manaus. We could leave from Miami, Atlanta, SFO, or LAX but are willing to consider other options as long as we can get a good deal without too many transfers. Ideally, direct to Brasilia would be great. Thanks for any advice.

I found the cheapest fares for international travel on Vayama.com
