Hi there. I read in one of the posts that you went for a walk in biometrics in Atlanta, what time of the day and what day was that? Is the officer a tall black guy? He seemed nice when I did my biometrics but they are asking me to repeat it and the new sched doesn't fit my hubby's off day, so I'm thinking of doing a walk in too.

After 2 months and 2 days from AP, we are now out of it! Visa finally approved! Yeyy!

Just got off the phone with DOS..case is still pending at the embassy under AP and the lady told me to call again next week for update...hoping they'll finish it next week.

There is no denial stamp on the passport but they have it in the system so you just have to declare when was your application date. It should not cause any problem in your k1 visa, they're 2 different categories. When is your interview?

Hi I have read somewhere about retrieving information based on freedom of information act, I came across this at the USCIS website wherein you have to fill out a form, ask what info you want to retrieve and for what purpose. Sorry my tip is not very clear, you may want to search more on this.

It's going 2 months since my interview date but 5 weeks since they put me on AP so I'm not sure how do I start counting but I guess I'll do another follow up next week. Hugs dear!

Called the DOS for visa update...after a couple of minutes wait while she may be digging some info..she came back on the phone to me and said it's still pending at the embassy...and that I had just been recently interviewed!!! Is 7 weeks after interview very recent?!? Grrrrr!!!

I suggest calling USCIS now..whatever happened to your case. Every case is unique, for some it only takes 4months from date of I129f submission while it's much longer than others. Good luck!

Had my interview today but was issued a 221g after the interview. Now, my fiance needs to gather information to clarify what was filled in the I129F. On the question about, "has he previously filed a petition for a fiancee, husband/wife" - he answered NO. We discussed about this prior to sending in the I129F, he could not exactly recall those paperworks he had signed before. It was all done by his ex-wife. But I got him to declare her name to answer question no. 11 on the previous fil...

I received the packet 4 from the US Emb...thinking that we have gathered all docs together for the interview, here comes the Affidavit of Support, in packet 3 it says my fiance needs to fill up I134 which he did but on packet 4 it says I864, but if I am a DV applicant then use I134. What does DV applicant mean?

Hi Gyselle, when you submitted the DS156 (2x) and DS156k, were the forms used those that had been sent by the Embassy or did you do them online? Because on the barcode field, there is the word 'BARCODE'. I have read from some posts that other embassies got them to fill up online to generate an actual barcode. I'm a little confused. Thanks!

Hi Jill, nauna pa ang interview schedule mo. Embassy kasi ang nagdedecide dito kung kelan ang interview eh, after namin masubmit yung packet 3. Sept13 pa yung sched ko eh. Goodluck sis! Balitaan mo ako for some tips ha. Hinihintay ko pa din yung I134 from my fiance, pero this week matatanggap ko na daw.

Sis medical ko sa Wednesday pa lang. Iba yata process dito sa SG, kelangan maibalik ko yung checklist before nila ako I sched for interview. Ikaw musta processing?

Got the letter from USEM SG and now on to gathering docs.
