Prassu..,,
Hello, your parents can come as much as they want with their VISA but they can't stay here. It is very important that your parents leave before the visa expires. Because you don't want them to overstay the visa. If that happens it would be a big problem. But you can start the paperwork and they can come visit but have to leave before the visa expires.

My wife is a US Citizen and wants to bring her Mother to the US. Her mother doesn't have access to a computer and is older (70 years old) and doesn't know know how to use a computer. So I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with the form DS-260, the online application to get a visa to move here. The form says her mom has to fill it out but it's not gonna be possible. Is there anyway my wife can fill out the form for her??? ( the legal way ?) Thanks for any information . James

Ciyara, I know you didn't want a divorce but sometimes relationships don't work and sometimes people change. It's possible you are seeing how your husband really is. What you are describing is not healthy for you at all-I don't know you but I'm concerned for you. You can get a divorce and still stay here in the usa. I know life isn't easy at all and your in a difficult situation but you should focus on your life NOW! You are still young and life is yours-take it and be happy.

Hello, I have some question about the I-130 Affidavit of Support. We are going thru the Embassy in Frankfurt, Germany and she has an interview soon and I was curious if anyone knew how long the form (I-134 A.O.S.) was good, acceptable, and valid at the Embassy when she has her interview. For example, I filled it out and sent to her the form plus the additional documents (Bank statements, Employer letter, and Taxes& W/2's) in July of 2011 and her interview is at the end of the month. So Im just curious how current the embassy wants it to be? If anyone knows I would appreciate it.....thanks. James

Just try and be as orderly as possible to where you arent fumbling around wasting the consulates time. Breath try and relax, We have all of our infor in order it was sent to everywhere, By the time you get the interview you have been through all the papers a million times, you should be pretty confident where it all is. Good Luck , very excited for you!
Thank you very much for the information and kind words

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any experience in extending a petition for 4-months. We are going thru the Frankfurt, Germany Embassy and I contacted them about this becasue we are waiting for a Police Certificate and we need more time. So, they informed me in an email that "they can't extend the petition until it expires" and "when the petition expires they will send a letter asking if we want to extend the petition and at that time we should re-send the letters of intent to extend the petition". Well I am just wondering what anyone else has done to extend the petition becasue for me this seems kinda odd, becasue I think if it is expired(the petition) then you cant extend it. I know what they told me we can but for some reason I have doubt to what I have been informed. So any informaton would be most helpful,,,,thanks

Triple28,
Thank you for the information, but the problem is at the end of the form it says the applicant (her mother) must electronically sign the form. So her mom is in another country and doesn't have access to a computer. So we are confused if we electronically sign the form if it is legal. James
