Hellow again...I received an email/text today from USCIS stating: "that I-129f has been received and routed to vermont service center...within 7-10 days you will receive your official receipt notice form I-797"....does this mean were moving in the right direction? Or nothing at all that I can still get RFE or denied for any reason? Thanks....

I noticed I spelled convictions wrong..dummy. lol

All my convictions where 12+ years ago..don't know if that will make difference

Hello everyone...I have 2 simple possesions of marijuana (1 no longer on my record, it happened when I was 17years old) and 1 open container charge...I've already sent off my I-129F last week and I was told by a lawyers office that I will be needing a waivers form for convictions.. I sent original copies of court records with I-129F and explanations to my violations..does anyone know if I will be getting REF or delayed because I will need waiver form for my convictions?

Thanks to everybody who's commented...it has eased my mind a bit...whole process is stressfull and were just gettn started. I'm hoping to here good news this week...anyone know about how long it will be untill I here smthing from them? I mailed I-129F off friday(7-8-11) two day express

Thanks guys...my beautiful fiance is from ukraine...I sent I-129F off Friday just nervouse about everything. Don't want any delays its already been 9 months since we've been together but we email everyweek and I call her atleast once a week...thanks again

I am 32year old us citizen and will turn 33 next month. My fiance turned 21 in feb. Is 12years large enough age difference for us to get denied k-1 visa?

Hi....I recently sent I-129F petition off and have 1 major concern. I have 2 simple possesions of marijuana and 1 open container convictions. 1 of my simple possesions was when I was 17years old and is no longer on my record. The 2nd was when I was 20years old and it was a traffic ticket with no arrest. My open container charge was stupid on my part and it happen when I was 21years old. I haven't been in trouble with the law since. Does anybody know if we will be denied k-1 visa?

I'm now 32 years old. Does anybody know if we are going to get denied application due to my criminal record? I have not been in trouble with the law since.
