I got married in Hawaii last April 19 and I received my certified copy thru mail around 23rd of May and was able to file AOS 5th of June.

We did informed our marriage officiate that we are K-1 and has to file AOS, the officiate went to the Dept. of Health right after the wedding to turn over the signed marriage license. The next day, we went to the Dept. of Health to request copies (5 of them) which we received on the 23rd of May.

Ok... I'll do the same. I'll ask the marriage officiate our situation and that we would need several copies asap.

I received our certified marriage certificate in the mail about a week after we were married. Where are you getting married that it takes 4-6 weeks to get it?

Hawaii... According to the government website it says 60-120 days for us to RECIEVE the marriage certificate.

My fiancé is coming to america from Philippines on Dec 27, 2011.

Our wedding is on Feb 12, 2012. It takes 4-6 weeks to even 4 months to RECIEVE a certified marriage certificate. Do we need to file the AOS before 90 days expiration with the copy of the certified marriage certificate?

OCT 17- FIANCÉ INTERVIEW @ USEM - 221g RECIEVE

OCT 26- USEM picked up fiancé NSO BC & CENOMAR regarding fiancé previous last name when he was just a child.

NOV 2 - fiancé sent his NBI clearance with his previous last name and his PASSPORT to 2GO per request of USEM.

NOV 4 - USEM RECIEVE documents

NOV 9 - DOCUMENTS forward to CO and still reviewing

*told to call back in the ending of NOVEMBER or 1 week DECEMBER. I've been calling the USEM long distance from Hawaii every week.

it was so sad because I just came home from PI on Nov 5 without my fiancé. Vacation in PI for 2 weeks for my fiancé 25th birthday on OCT 28 )

We're trying to see if there is a existing NSO BC regarding his birth last name. All I know is his current BC from NSO is labled delay registration.

Fiancé interview was on 10/17/11. Fiancé RECIEVE a 221g asking for more documents BC/CENOMAR/NBI clearance for his previous last name which was ammended on his current BC from NSO. Anyway I was wondering if the I- 129F petition expiration date on 12/7/11 still stands? Our I-129F petition was approve on 8/8/11.

My fiancé had his interview today in MANILA. He pass the interview portion but need extra documents regarding his birth last name WHICH is different from his current last name. He already has all required documents regarding his current last name which he has used all his life but a delayed registration on his birth certificate.. they the embassy notice he did have a different last name at birth. He will try to submit another NSO BIRTH CERTIFICATE with that old last name and his current last name, ANOTHER NBI CLEARNACE and ANOTHER CENOMAR on their request by friday.. Anyway I was wondering how soon will I find out. I'm flying to philippines this Sunday and I hope to bring him home with me on Nov 5. I hope the documents are cleared and he gets his visa on hand. I feel so disappointed ...

He is Tagalog from quezon province so no family in US that he knows of

Haha... Thanks guys... I know HAWAII environment is similar to PI PRovinces but just him not having his family around will be a different experiece. I'll try find a way to get his family a laptop and Internet at their home so they can SKYPE

I'm just curious... Since I' just waiting for my FIANCE interview at the US embassy in MANILA. I was wondering what will help my FIANCE get over his his homesickness. I know this is going to be a big transition and life changing experience. It's also going to be his first time riding an airplane...hehe

My FIANCE is going to interview for his K1-visa on OCT 17. I was wondering how long does it take to receive his visa/passport/documents" from 2go courier? I'm planning on booking his flight to travel home with me from PI on NOV 5 once his visa is approve. He lives in Quezon province. I scheduled it to be picked up at the 2go Office.

Supposedly Oct. 12 had to cancel it... prolly end of Oct.

October schedule slots: 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 28

For K-1 applicants you can select interview date. Pay visa fee then wait about 4 hours after payment before you can select appointment schedules online or you may contact the us embassy call center

My FIANCE is still waiting for DFA LUCENA to release his passport on Oct 6. After that, he will pay for his visa at BPI and hopefully schedule his interview in OCTOBER prior to OCT 23. I am traveling to PI for a 2 week vacation so Im hoping to bring him home in NOVEMBER 5 if everything goes well. I know I shouldn't made plans but I already had this vacation scheduled last year and my job is a job which vacation request are hard to be granted. Anyway I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any availability slots in October for interviews. Also how long did you have to wait for a available interview slot? Did you choose the date that was much convient for you or whatever was available?

Praying that this plan works and I get to take my FIANCE home with me finally.

The DS-158 is not used for K Visas in Manila. it was used for other types of nonimmigrant visas

wear NEAT AND PRESENTABLE CLOTHES NO EARINGS,JUST BE SIMPLE KUNG BAGA,STAY CALM,THE CO WILL TELL HER IF SHE APPROVE OR NOT SOME CASES CO did not say anything approve or not,but just wait until they will inform u if approve visa will be in 2 to 3 weeks to be delivered by "2GO"LOLS.
