How about you have a small ceremony in Nigeria with his family and then when he gets his spousal visa you have another bigger wedding for your family?

In 2006 I went to my local SSI office with the case law in hand. Applied for the SSI number and had in within 2 weeks. I am also in New Orleans. I went to the small office in Kenner. Hope this helps.

Congradulations!

May Allah grant you the strength to get thru this, inshaAllah. I had the same feeling today. I also got a second notification changing my transfer date from June 20th to June 21st. So Im thinking that this process with where ever the Petition was sent will take about 30 days. At least I know my Petition is being processed and we have hope for a future approval. My case is a bit more complicated but Im hopeful that we have sent enough proof that we will be approved quickly. We have many things to keep us busy once we know what our decision is and that will get us through the next few months. I have been through this process once before but it was much faster back in 2005. Anyway, my best wishes to us all.

We are joining you all in the transfer! Whoop Whoop!

Lets hope our cases that were transferred get processed within 30 days. Good luck to all of us!

We got the same notice today. Transferred from Vermont. I hope this means a quick response!
-
Many prayers for you and your fiance. Hang in there. Best wishes!

We mailed our K1 before you and Vermont "clocked" us on January 22nd. We got our NOA 1 shortly thereafter and nothing since January 30th when we were "touched". I'm hopeful that they will be working on our Petitions soon. Patience truly is your best friend during this process. Good luck!

Many prayers for you and your love. InshaAllah (God Willing).

Rico_Cooper....Be sure that your "new girlfriend" knows everything about your ex-fiance. You are from a high fraud country and it will be difficult for you to prove that you aren't with these women just to travel to the US. You would do well with taking your time with this NEW relationship. Be ready to answer alot of questions.

Welcome to VisaJourney and good luck! This site provides a great support system that you will definetly need.

Agree with Aaron. Immigration fraud is a serious offense. You could be deported and banned from the US for life. I hope you have a better explaination for your disregard of ALL proper procedures. Our loved ones suffer because of your ignorance.
Bragging on this site about your fraud is not suggested and you will receive no help continuing to defraud.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Having two small children and no money is never a good feeling. He is the father of those children therefore he is financially responsible for them. You should contact an attorney and explain your issues. If your husband is serious about divorce most states will help you apply for child support and possibly alimony if he has been supporting you. You have gotten some other good advice. Your conditions are removed and you have your 10 year green card. Try to get in touch with your religious originazations and see if they can offer you any assistance. Good luck.

Better to have to many things than to have to little....be safe and take all you can. You really never know. You should post in MENA ( Middle East and North Africa) forum for specifics. I'm certain that many Morrocans have been through your Embassy and will offer great assistance to you. Good luck, inshaAllah.

She can move to Egypt. That's the other option. You can find a job and live happily ever after....
This is exactly what my fiance said!

I wish I had the answer for you, but I don't.

Here is the answer we needed. Your wife doesnt work so you need a co-sponsor who can support you and thier household in full. I know you may be tired of it but after you find someone who meets the requirement then and only then will the embassy be satisfied. Im sorry.
Filing for a GC ASAP
in Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas
Posted · Edited by True Love at Last
Salamu alaikum....Since you are already in the country you can get married and apply for Adjustment of Status. There are many guides to help you through this process. Good Luck! Click on the Guides link at the top of the VJ page and search for AOS.
I'm sure you will get many great informational responses.
She the USC will be the petitioner so you would use her address.
After your married and living together you can change your address (this will be required for proving a valid marriage).
When you apply for your AOS you will also apply for your EAD.
I hope this helps.
