No bother batya..it varies per SSA office..here in Bloomingotn, IN, they didnt give it to me after 24 hrs from application. Smoe VJers got the number within 24 hrs. I didn't even when I talekd to the Supervisor..but I got my SS card after 5 days!I applied Mon, I got it Sat. If you have a job offer like I did, it's can be a test of patience but hey trust it wil find its way to you. G...

hi batya..yes u can..do it tomorrow first thing in the morning!SSA here just asked for my passport and my EAD, no other docs but I took my marriage license and birth certificate just in case..yay!happy for you!am to start work on thurs.when is your AOS interview again? mine will be next Mon.
