  1. When my wife came back from a cruise, all they did was look at here EAD / AP card and did not even process it. Her maiden name is her passport, her card is in her married name. I booked her cruise in her passport name just like plane tickets, but they changed her name to her EAD / AP card. They consider that a GC in their system. When we got back into Miami they just looked her card and did not even do anything in the computer. We had her GC interview 2 days later and they asked her to confirm her last entry into the US. We stated about the cruise and they just looked at her card and let us through. They say that is normal with so many people with the card.

  2. We had a very easy approval today. We had an 12:45pm appointment, and arrived at 12:15. We had to wait till about 12:45-1:00pm for our interview. She swore us in, confirmed my wife name / address. She asked when her last entry into the country, which was 2 days before. We got back from a cruise but they did not process her with her AP. She said that was normal with the cruises.

    She asked her the questions in her I-485 form. She made copies of our drivers license and she asked that if we knew about the ROC in 2 years. We said yes, and got our txt that are green card was in production a couple hours after we left. She never looked at our paperwork that we brought.

    We were in our interview in less than 10 minutes.

  3. That's ok,you don't need to be sorry!

    unfortunately we are still at the NVC but it's only one week after our approval,think we will call them next Monday,i guess they didn't assign it yet.

    But as about case statue,I guess it depends really because of the Center!

    Any way, keep my fingers crossed hope to hear smth soon.

    Wish you good luck with the embassy.

    Thanks

    Hey Inna and Chris our Visa was approved by TSC on the same day 6/30/14 and we are both in Ukraine. I am going to call Wednesday to the NVC to see if they have recieved our paperwork yet. I am not sure if you recieved anything but we got a notice from TSC that they sent our approval to NVC on Wednesday 7/2/14. It has been adventure so far, and we are both ready for her to move here.

  4. Thanks. I did put in an e-request last week, but took someone's advice to just put December 2013 as the receive date. My e-request was accepted, and I got back a response saying I should get a status update by middle of July. Instead of getting that update, I received the NOA2. I wonder if I will still get some response back about the e-request.

    This is what I did and I got my approval as well. I just put in 12/01/13 as the recieve date in on my e-request on 6/22, and got my NOA2 yesterday 6/30.

  5. If you go to the Dashboard on USCIS, you can tell the amount of applications that have recieved has gone up at TSC while the number of approvals as gone down. It seems they are not working on them that much. Hopefully they will clearout the backlog soon. They only approved 1,600 applications in Janurary and still have 5,600 pending and going up. If you look at CSC they approved 2,100 applications with only 2,600 pending. This is why CSC is moving so quickly.

  6. Let us know what happens with your expediate. I requested one two weeks ago on the 19th when everything was crazy in Kiev, they denied it. The letter came back saying:

    Although your situation appears serious, you have not provided evidence of an extreme emergent need, which must meet one of the following criteria:

    *Severe financial loss to company or individual;
    *Extreme emergent situation;
    *Humanitarian situation;
    *Nonprofit status of requesting organization in furtherance of the cultural and social interests of the United States;
    *U.S. Department of Defense or national interest situation (Note: Request must come from an official U.S. Government entity and state that delay will be detrimental to our Government);
    *USCIS error; or
    *Compelling interest of USCIS.

    They did not tell me how to give them this information.

  7. Yes my Fiancee lives a little outside of the city, and she says that the Subway isnt working. She works very close to Maidan and they have completly closed the metro. She is suppose to go to Ternopil to visit her family this weekend but they said they are stopping all trains coming from the west. She is concerned about trying to get back to Kiev. All I can do is ask for an expediate and all they can do is say no. I am more concerned about her safety then probably her.
