We say thank you Jesus, my hubby's visa has been approved. We can now start our life together and he will finally meet his baby girl face to face. God is good!!!! Best of luck to everyone here waiting to be reunited with there loved ones. Keep the faith and God is always on your side.

OK.....so my husbands flight from Lagos should have taken off by now......He is in for a long flight.....I know from experience it is not the best flight....smiles....in just 10 hours I will be meeting him at JFK....with the kids to rush him.....lol

Prasingn GOD in the midst of everything! Husband got a letter last week saying I had to be present at the interview...WOW! I was not planning on going to the interview because I have a mother (who lives down the street with my baby girl) to watch while my daughter is at work(from 4:30pm -1:00am...Monday-Friday), and plus my oldest daughter is leaving on Sunday going to Bogota, Colombia for 67 days with her job to train others in her company. So that is putting a strain on me to figure...

OK 13 days and my hubby lands at JFK, Man 5am will come way too early to pick him up, and I have to drive 2 hours to get there with 4 kids...because THEY want to greet him at the airport.....smh!!!!

Can't say much about the experience. This is our second go around first the K1 then the CR1. So they didn't ask much, other than who petitioned for you, how many times has she been here, when was she last here, and do you have any additional photo's? I had front loaded so he didn't have to provide much although he printed a buttload of stuff to take with him. Thats all the asked and told him to come back next week and get his passport and visa.

Hubby got hit with sty on his eye to the extent they had to ask him to stay off work 4 few days as he couldn't function maximally with the redness and pain.I got hit with fear of him being rescheduled by the embassy until I remembered that it is GOD who rules in the affairs of men. Saw his beautiful eyes today on skype and they were cleared out. Phew!!!!

Well...Niether yes or no, yet. They asked him for contact information from some neighbors in Ghana and one in Lagos. They asked him to schedule a date for our daughter's mom to come in and have the paper notarized to allow her to immigrate with my husband, and so they can ask her some questions.

Missing him.....even if he asks me the same questions repeatedly....smiles....Can't wait to continue or life journey with us together
