    Seems I am taking the wrong route in persuing a fiance visa. So, guess my dream is going to come true sooner than expected. Will return back to Mexico and marry the love of my life, then seek Cr1 visa :)

    Glad that I did not hire the attorneys that I had consulted with, before filing application. Seems like they gave me alot of false hope and information. Guess they were only looking out for their own gains (monetarily) instead of our case. I will fight this all the way and give it all I got!

    ok just over 2 months and passport is being sent via courier.. but no one can tell us anything dept of state says call next friday, vfs has no idea as usual.. the suspense is killing me!!!

    Week 13. I got my driver's license on a Friday the 13th, so maybe this will be our good luck week. Regardless, Senator Sherrod Brown has sent a letter to the head of the New Delhi embassy so that's a plus (not that it will actually do any good but at least it's something).

      nope not rude, we dont care.. our age diff is 12years I am older.. are you also going through New delhi also? whatever you do try and be as thorough as possible with documentation and affidavits from everyone you can think of abt the relationship.. believe me it will help.

      Awwww thats so nice.. you rock !! seriously.. when this is all over we are going to meet in chicago and have a celebration dinner downtown!!! I know a few perfect places... I appreciate all the encouragement and support.. its so funny.. yash asks about you guys all the time because you guys share our struggle... we'll make it.. both of us.

      We dont know, we do have a few differences but we have documentation of everything. they have called his family and called him again and interviewed everyone. they have all forms and his passport.. there is really nothing lacking.. except we are an interracial couple and have an age difference.. thats really th only things that they possibly dont agree with.. either way we have done and given all they requested so now we wait.

      I know the feeling.. yash and I are haveing a lot more arguments from frustration.. then a period of hopelessness.. its hard.. and I am sorry to keep saying it.. Hang in there... it easier said than done but its possible.

      it really depends on the situation, it doesnt always happen .. for some reason they are giving us a very hard time.

      I am going to sit on my hands for 3 more weeks and at the 2 month mark then will ask them to do another one.I know the senators office said I have to wait at least 60-90days.. seriously? I hope you guys dont hit the 3 month mark!! AS SOOOOOOOOOOOOON as you hear anything pls post here..
