The cases I have been referencing where interracial K1 couples have had issues are all New Delhi. I don't know of any recent sample couples you could follow from Mumbai. However, Mumbai is the embassy with the embassy review that talks about calling the fiance's family in India. You should definitely read the embassy reviews for the past two years there.

Well, that's a little difficult to see him often as he's a Merchant Marine and is out to sea for 9 months at a time. I've been to India to see him 7 times in the past 4 1/2 years however, so let's hope that counts for something! I will DEFINITELY be attending the interview in Delhi when the time comes! Thanks for the reassurance!!

When you visit in May, bring some of his stuff home with you. Also, have him buy a ton of undershirts because I can't find Indian style vests here anywhere. As part of my interview evidence, I included pics of my home that showed I was already including pics of his family in the decor and his stuff was already throughout the house. Good luck!!!
