I got an approval letter at my mail today. I am surprised coz my case status online  hasn't been changed since the case received . My priority date was April 18,2018 at Potomac Service Center. Approval date October 17. Good luck to all of us, I hope the NVC process will be smooth as USCIS. 

Received my NOA1 today dated April 23. Now, the long wait begins. Good luck to all of us here. 

Joining this thread as April 2018 filer for IR-5, I am petitioning my father. Sent documents April 16, received on the 18th. Cashed check on the 24th and text and email received that my case was received with receipt number starting YSC so I am assuming its on Potomac Service Center. No actual notice yet but I can track already my case online. 

I had my oath ceremony this morning held at my local uscis office. Finally, this whole immigration process is finally done. I am one proud American citizen. Good luck to everyone and Congratulations to all of us. 

I had my interview this morning and happy to share you guys that i passed my interview. I think it only took 10 minutes, waiting time was longer coz i arrived at 9:30 on my 10:00am schedule and my name was called past 10 already. I answered all the 6 questions correctly and the rest is all about the N-400 form that you submitted. I chit chatted with the IO a little bit and she told me that there's some kind of messed up with the new ELIS system. One last step is the oath taking then I'll be done. Good luck to everyone. I got a text message last Thursday morning that my case status was updated to a schedule for an interview then i log in to my accout the day after, i saw the PDF file and my interview is scheduled on January 18. I have 2 weeks to study for the test. Haven't received the actual notice yet.

I've been patient for not receiving a biometrics appointment until now. It's been a month since I send my application but to my surprise today, I got a letter of RFI ( Request for Information). It stated in the letter that I am applying outside United States which is I'm not. I did reveiw my filled up N-400 forms very well and I'm sure I didn't check the box that I am applying outside the United States. They wanted my fingerprints or biometrics so they could process my application. I already called USCIS about this and the lady that I talked to think it must be an error. Hopefully I will know more about my application and will get a biometrics appointment really soon.

Was it just another notice specifically sent to create an account or is it a bio-metric appointment letter?

It's another notice to specifically create an online account, it's like an acceptance too but there's a an instructions there how to create one coz you will be given an access online code that is good for 30 days from the date notice sent.

I still can't check my status online. It comes up with the same error :-(

You will get a new notice with instructions on how to create an account online. I just received mine this morning.

then i am really sorry for "giving out" that information. I have no idea why they created that for me or how i prompted them to do so. i thought we all would get that. very strange!

IOE means ELIS (e-Filing). I got NOA but NO welcome USCIS ELIS letter or any instruction, like it is promised on the website, to create an account. I had an account that I created before to make a payment but then realized the updated website doesn't require to create an account any more. So I still have it and it is empty. I think you can create it too, but won't be able access any info. When I click the link at the right hand side 'Enter Your Online Access Code (See Account Acceptance Notice)'

it comes up with:

" If you received an online access code in the Welcome to USCIS ELIS letter sent to you, please enter that online access code below to access and review your application."

and then:

"For security reasons, USCIS ELIS will never send your online access code via email or SMS/text messages.

When you enter a valid online access code, you will access your case on a read-only basis. You will not be able to make changes to your application, petition, or request.

I think we have the same case, on my notice of acceptance receipt, I didn't get an instruction on how to create an account online. I still didn't get a biometrics appointment. I will call tomorrow.

What are the three letters your case number starts with? Mine is IOE and from a quick google, and other threads here in the forum, there seem to be differences between IOE and NBC numbers, I just don't know what the difference is yet.

It starts with IOE. I think I have to call USCIS in case I won't get a bio appointment this week.

Hm, interesting, my NOA came with an Access Code and instructions on how to create the account -- i just assumed that this is normal, i cannot remember that I filled out anything weird (i submitted G-1145, but that's for email and text)

The Content of my NOA is totally different. It says:

My Notice came from National Benefits Center in Lee's Summit, MO. I'm still waiting for my biometrics appointment. I wish I could set up an online account so I would know if there's a development in my case.

you will get a NOA in the mail soon, in there it will tell you how to create an online account and you will be able to access documents like the NOA as well as the biometrics appointment notice in there, its pretty cool.

Hi! I got my NOA last week but it didn't says about how to create an online account. I think I have a different NOA but I can check my case statues just by entering my receipt number.

Received my NOA in the mail today and my priority date is August 2.

What's your local USCIS office? I can add your info to the list.

I'm a PR since 08-07-2013 and my field office is Wichita, KS. I got an email and text yesterday with my receipt number that starts with IEO. I can also check my status online now and it says my application was received last Aug 3. So I should expect my NOA sometime next week. Thanks for adding me to the timeline.

Mailed my package last Monday, August 1 to Arizona and delivered on Tuesday. This morning got a notification from my credit card that there's a charge of 680 from USCIS. Good luck to all of us.

GC on hand. I didn't get a tracking number but it's here. We will all be over soon with this immigration process.

Got the approval letter this morning and last night I received an email that my card was mailed to me yesterday so probably I will get the physical card on Monday. In 6 months my window for citizenship is open. ???

Just got a text message and an email new card is being produced.

Wanted to update my timeline in this topic but I don't know how. I'll appreciate it if someone could do it for me. My biometrics schedule is on August 7. Thanks a lot.
