    GOT A JOB OFFER! YAYYYY! so excited! It's within my field, for a British company - 5 weeks of vacation pr. year and a pretty good pay :) Couldn't be happier!

    I'm sitting at my desk in tears. The airline says they will not take a split payment (half credit card/half cash) at the ticket counter or anywhere else. The ticket is 80 bucks above my CC limit! I'm devestated. My husand is going to be so upset but it looks as if I am not going home.

      Travel agents have access to multi airline fares for a super great rates at times. They normally are not mileage earning or great seats. But I would try. Don't give up. There's also another option. Go to priceline and bid on a ticket that's lower than your limit.

    Interesting...just got this USCIS email update: "USCIS wants to notify customers and stakeholders that some work that USCIS performs at the four USCIS service centers (Vermont, Nebraska, Texas and California) will be transferred to a Field Office or the National Benefits Center (NBC) in order to balance the overall workload with processing capacity. "

    170 days into AOS. Having work and travel authorization relieves the pressure of not yet having the greencard. I highly recommend applying for these when you start AOS. There's no additional cost, so why not?

      Thanks folks. Im doing alright. Not stressing about it. It will come. I remember we waited 170 days for NOA2. But my dear Mrs. Castro here is a mighty patient gal. Keep your chin up hun!

    Congressman contacted us, the letter basically said they received our inquiry and assigned a staff on our case to follow up with it along with a number we could call. Guess we'll wait for a few days in anticipation.

    No news from congressman yet. & 240 days since NOA1. & USCIS mailed a letter upon service request to wait for 60 days.

    Searching online for my husband a shirt and tie for interview. This is FUN!!! I can't wait till he gets home!!! First holiday with the family...Thanksgiving (and not a darned thing pepperish). OMG, will he survive?

      I feel very blessed with all the well wishes. I do want to clarify that I have a 7 year old daughter. But this is the first child for Tolga and I together. My daughter is BEYOND excited to become a big sister :)
