    Update: Hubby still has no job... He worked at a bakery but it was 50 minutes away and transportation was an issue.. Praying a job comes up SOON! Stepdaughter coming Jan 12 :-)

    My husband is off at his weekly english class, my little girl is sleeping and I have 2 dogs curled up next to me by the Christmas tree. Ahhh the weekend :)

    Put in a service request over 2 weeks ago and we were told we were way out of processing time. So today we sent a letter to our Congressman. Hopefully we will hear something soon.

      Yes, you have to call yourself. And then they'll ask you a bunch of junk. Then give you a reference number.

      They told me they were processing September 14th last I called. And when you're transfered to CSC, you're just at their mercy.

    Very proud voter today. My first time voting as a US citizen :) I even took my very opinionated 7 year old with me. Maybe she'll be president one day.

      He's doing great. Just got a second promotion at work. Really proud of him. He's been taking english classes and he's really come a long way. His coworkers say the same thing.

    We rescued a homeless dog that was roaming our neighborhood for over 2 weeks. A Jack Russell mix. Cutest little dog and super sweet. After a few days he has adjusted really well. So proud of the little guy. His name is Houdini :)

      @Sweetie811. We waited nearly 6 months for our NOA2 also. Melinda has been a saint lately. Holding strong when it didn't look like things were going their way. But Melinda and Bayram are made for each other. Can't wait to see the happy reunion photos!

    We had a fun night last night decorating the front of our home for Halloween. My husband is excited because this is his very first Halloween. And my daughter and my favorite holiday. Can't wait to see him in costume :)

      Actually my daughter will be an angry bird and I think he's the green pig. lol. Not sure what I'm going to be yet. We have a very popular neighborhood for trick or treaters. So as usual it will be a very fun night :)

    we got our NO1 today , BUT it said it has been sent to NBC !!!!!!!!! and my case number start with MSC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have no idea what is happening !

      They just put out a release that many of the cases would be handled by NBC instead of CSC. No worries. Maybe you'll get faster processing
