  1. Jenny had a typo of her last name on her Birth Cert and seeked to fix that at her province before noa2. I understand the vast majority there have issues on thier Birth Cert, but we didn't want any snags. Well, it is glad she did because after filing for it was told it will take 4 months to be corrected. So, seeing that I'm in VSC she should have that by time I get noa2 lol. But, I need that to get an ID, passport, and NBI. I'm sure those take awhile to receive also. I think you can expedite the passport just like here in USA at extra cost but not sure about the NBI? Also, how long do those to take? I hear Cernomar should be done last, is that true and how lond does that take too? I am just hoping for the best on noa2 timing and want to finish all needed for her to be here within 2 months after noa2

I tried to attach the excel file for other to edit and use but it wont let me. So here is a link to it K1 Excel Spreadsheet

Yeah didnt want you to over stress over extra Grand out of no where, for now the lower the better, but you never can have too much. It is some great suggestions you are getting. So, that 1000 will get added back one way or another lol. I love my girl she is so thrifty and understanding about money. If yours is anything like mine she will understand if you don't have all right away seeing that there is soo much to do, it can be overwhelming. But we all have time right? I have to laugh at some of these post though funny they are soo true like the rice cooker my girl said is the only request she has that and for her coffee maker. And the wicker decorations and Christian Art etc is a recent thought she had lol. She wants virgin Mary somwhere when she redecorates.

Maybe he didn't have room for the "mistress" column in there and combined it with the wife.

    LOL that is tooo funny

  3. I see your case is at the VSC. I pray that they'll pick up the pace. CSC has been really rockin' lately. Some things to check: your estimated date of adjudication will change periodically based upon other's timeline data, log into your USCIS account from time to time and see if the update date has changed at all (if so, you've been touched (feels good, doesn't it?)), you can also check where you rank on Igor's list (the more people that update their timeline with their NOA2's, the higher number you be on the list of people still waiting for theirs). I'm an April filer, by the way.

Welcome to the hurry-up-and-wait line. Be prepared for a midnight text message if you filled out the form for electronic notification. If you did, check the email they'll send to see what service center they forwarded your case to (it's based upon what state you live in).

Wow you really know your stuff! Yeah I wish and hoped I would get mistakenly sent out west lol. Thanks for all the tips. And you was very right to the other post info about the midnight text/email lol what's up with that , I was very caught off guard lol

  4. I'm new here. I have just FINALLY sent out our K-1 visa application. It took forever to start this leg of the process...but we are on our way! Soooo excited!

I felt the samw way in the last few weeks it seemed to take forever to do the first step because first it took days to get all paperwork and proof needed, copied, and a few backups, pics copied etc... Then to get cash I needed took a few weeks to offset minor bills etc, then finally to postoffice and wait for the service I hired to double check (honestly not sure I needed after sites like thus and others gave me all the info I needed to do myself) and waited for noa1. Now I am here for the long wait and waiting at least with you guys.

  5. I sent my 129 out last week and it arrived in Texas Wednesday 5/11. I am waiting for Noa 1 and I know there is alot out there like me. I want to here from you all May filers along the way. This will be the official May Filer Page (I hope) since I don't see any others out there. Please come and let's take this journey to Noa2 together and talk about any RFE etc... WELCOME ALL! (even some April or June)

  6. Hi there...well, let me be the second person you meet here lol. Welcome and good luck to your visa journey :)

    Yay for forevers! :D . . . God bless.

Lol thank you too, I wish I was at the point some of you are at. I don't even have noaa yet

  7. Aloha Randy, Welcome to VJ

Aside from your in service center is in Vermont and your using a service we have similar Journeys.

Best of Luck, stay in touch. Peace......................Happy

Well Salamat Sir, luckily for you I hear CSC is much faster. You are the first person I've met here. What part of Philippines is your Fiancee from and what part did you visit. I went to Cagayan De Oro and loved it in the Philippines. I would love to go back.

  8. Hi all,

I just joined the site today. It seems like a nice place to pass time while waiting for K1 app to be processed. I am starting out here after just finished sending my K1 visa app to a visa help company. In alot of ways I regret hiring someone to do it because it slows down my noaa 1 a week or so lol. I gathered all the requirements and read all on sites like this I needed to know. The only thing I didn't do was make it pretty and organized but I could have done it. I hope there proof-reading it prevents any RFE's.

How I got here... This all started October 27 2010 which is me and Jenny anniversary monthly. I joined various sites over the years and had little success. But, in 2010 I tried to look abroad, first at Thailand and met one friend at the most there. However, I then joined a few Filipina sites and one was little, but the other kisses was alot. At first it seem just friends and a few potential ones. But, then Jenny warmed my heart after years of disappointments and failures. She over time proved to me she is genuine and really like me. Then I fell for her and by this year we plan a visit there for me. I went and LOVED all that is Philippines. Most importantly I love her. I don't want to spend much time without her. This is why it is already hard to wait for this process. I went April 1 and came back here April 15. I had to adjust to time here and bills etc then I put together package. Now after I was sure I could take $340 hit I sent everything to the visa guy. We dream of a time we never have to part again. We dream of a time we can have our dream Jurnee our daughter or son Jordy. We had so much fun in that short time. And we want more and even the everyday routine as a couple. Finally, I'm happy. I just pray I get through this time and succeed in the Visa and can't wait to the day I can buy her plane ticket here with confidence. I also wish everyone here the same.

    Randy
