called the embassy. They approved the Visa, Plus printed and issued the Visa on Wednesday. So we are going to check with 2go to see where it is. It may beat us back to her village. :thumbs:

I know this has been a very long journey for you. I'm shocked I was jus approved at VSC 112 days no rfe, sooo happy right now. I can't sleep out of happiness since yesterday lol that is why I am up.

Can some one tell me the best steps to take to get my Fiancee all the docs she needs. We just got our noa2 and I want the rest of the process to go smooth. For starters will she need a basic ID? She was a student, but is no longer. She didnt have a job and previously never had a need for any ID beyond her student ID. But I think that is invalid since she no longer go to that school. I don't know where to start. But I know she needs the usual. Passport, Cenomar, Birth Cert, and NBI. Oh one thing she does have is Baptismal Cert. I know its not needed but where do I go from here to have all done by the time the case gets to Embassy and I can officially schedule Medical and Interview?

Our case is special because she will use 'affidavit of one and the same person' since her Birth Cert has wrong spelling of family name (long story), so I figure maybe she should be best to do it in person not just online. So you think voters id is easier to get than postal? If so what is the minimum requirement for it? Is there a place to get cenomar and nbi live instead of online to assure they use both alias so there is no issue at interview time? this was meant for fundoctor

I used a postal ID as my secondary ID. But it's the passport that is the most important. St Luke's gives back the passports now so she can use it upon entering the embassy.

You are soon dont worry, I see alot around your date now. WOW this last day and a half sooo many approvals its crazy! Im surprised to see them picking up the pace sooo fast GO VSC! Yes the random long wait is over, only lots of work.left mainly for our fiances. But its down hill from here.

I just noticed (yes I still look at stats I'm addicted lol) that so far compared to April filers, we may filers had more 3 month approvals. So lets go MAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Many more to come before September is over!

@Ran4Jenny: I squeezed out info that they are working on our case right now. I know it's not really fair, but I tried to expedite our case because of Ice's situation at home. I got this email:

"The status of this service request is:

Due to the high volume of expedite requests for this case type, we are strictly enforcing the criteria that has been set for these expedite requests. While your situation appears serious, you have not provided evidence of an extreme emergent need.

Moreover, your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter.

To me, that means we're almost there... I want Sabrina and I to get approved this week.

Yeah I hope, I looked at last april thai approval and figure u will be approved around later September first week October at latest. I did that will alot of people on Igor stat list and even with me it is true. Even though I jus found out all the Uscis msgs tell me I was approved September 2nd, so just like the last few Philippines approval I was 112 days. Well they were 111 but close enough lol. So again you are soon. Also its not as many thai apps as phil, so I imagine it wont be that long.

Yeheyyyy!! NOA2 approved!!!! I was reading someones status saying they just received an email that they was approved, I was thinking thats weird getting an email this late so I checked my email and nothing =( I thought what the hell I'll check USCIS website and was surprised to see we was approved. A few minutes later at 10:15pm I received the text and email. Congratulations to everyone approved and for those who are waiting, hold on it's coming.

NOA1 was May 10th, 119 days later NOA2 approved on September 6th

Our timeline estimate was September 5th to September 17th

We was number 488 on Igor's list when we started, and approved at number 177

Berkeley list we were number 101

All I can say is WOW. Everyday I check all day every hour mainly. Today I was sad to see little to know approvals all day. Then at 10 I got text and email. Approved as of September 2! Normally in the last week and a half since May approvals started every text or email I suspect is NOA2, but this time I ws think facebook alert or Visa Journey interview review or junk mail. But nope its NOA2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question? How does people know when there case has been touched? I signed up on the USCIS site and have my eac number and it says initial review, which I know means its just sitting around, but I notice alot of others can see if it has been touched or anything. How does that work?

Hello. You can take her to Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, VA or to Luray Caverns. Go for a DC tour, they have good packages to stop and see monuments, smithsonian, capitol hill, white house and more, choose the orange double deck bus. And Buffalo, NY is just 7 hours drive from MD so you might want to take her and from there, you can go to Niagara Falls (American side) or cross border to Toronto. And I just found out that there are different gardens in Wheaton Regional park and a place where you can see different live butterflies.

No. I have not decorated our house with Pinoy decor because I don't have any We are going back to Quezon City, Philippines in November so I will do some shopping.

I wish there was Jollibee here in MD, I miss Jollibee in Las Vegas, it's not as good as the one back home though, but it's better than nothing. There is Lumpia, Pansit atbp in Gaithersburg, they serve real good Pinoy foods.

So this is just a standard usb type smartbro setup? That is weird she is currently in Butuan and it sucks beyond belief. I spent alot mailing that to her and the netbook only to have choppy to the point where I can't hear 99% of what she is saying

Anyone have success with Magic Jack. I sent one to my fiancee Jenny and it is very choppy and most times we can't here each other. She has a modern Netbook with sufficient memory and before sent to her work jus fine with me on comcast surfing. But, there on wireless smartbro it is just ok for surfing and horrible for Magic jack calls.

So what I am asking is what ISP in philippines would work better than the SmartBro wireless? Does anyone have a current setup that is working good for them?
