ok, so the flight im looking at, is dublin to houston, via heathrow, so id clear cbp in dublin, and not have to in houston?

So ive been told an read, dublin is a POE, an i can get interview an hand in my mystery envelope there, an have no drama as i enter the usa, as ive cleared the POE in dublin, is this really true, i can fly via dublin, get sorted and not have hassle or deal with CBP in the USA, i was stunned when i read this,

I also had RFE for same thing.. I had my wife sign 5ea DS-230 so if there was a mistake I could redo it fast.. You need to send with the barcode.. You can send the barcode off the Website or you can wait until they also email a barcode with the RFE... I would call NVC and ask if you actually need another signature.. Perhaps they will let you do the DS-260 online form...........

I sent my RFE back the next day Priority Mail and I was only delayed 5-7 days..........

WELL CONGARTS and i pray ours is the same time frame, its awful waiting, we were so close to CC an interview, we are now looking at a november interview, horrible, just horrible :'(

Ok so i called nvc they had recieved my aos and ds230 package and found a fault with the ds230 form, i reviewed it again and cant believe i did but found the flaw also, it was question 30 on the ds 230, so what do i do now? does my husband have to send me another signed ds 230, that will take to long, can he print one, scan an email it to me, also when sendn in a rfe document what do u need, the barcode? i dunno, so confused just wanna get this done tomorrow an get back on track, so upset, this will really slow us down by weeks now somebody please help

well nvc recieved the AOS an the ds230 last thrusday and friday respectively, how long will it be before we can expect a cc, we got all we need to file for quick interview once date assigned plus medicals done, the final stretch seems the longest dont it, knowing your nearly there but in a second nvc can give an rfe that will delay it all again, be so glad when im back home with the miss's an kids

OK so we all no irene has hit inland and on weather.com the NVC zip has it as hurricane weather warning so its obviously been hit, how will this affect proccessing times etc

Yes, since your case was expedited at NVC you have a good chance for expedite at embassy level. I would have the US citizen call the embassy directly and ask for this, then fax documentation if necessary. If you can be flexible about dates, you might get a cancellation appointment very soon, the US embassy in London tends to be good about that. Have you done your medical yet?

yes medicals done and passed, embassy have the results, expedite was at uscis not at nvc, our files are being processed at nvc an hope to get a CC withn week/2weeks

Ok so we have paid both fees and sent both packages off, one received thursday other friday, now our case was expedited at NVC due to my wifes sick health and the fact she needed an urgent unexpected operation, her job fired as she came out of recovery! so she suffered severe financial difficulties while raising our 2 kids, now, she has struggled financially and physically since, i have provided cash via my bank since then, an have bank statements to show this, and have emails with a company who are willing to hire me, now can we request an quicker interview on the grounds she is still struggling with her job loss, im supporting two households (mine an hers) and ive also had my medical is this a genuine reason? an if approved, how long can we expect to wait, an do we send the request and all the documents to the nvc address we mailed the DS230 AN I-864 packages too?

This could well be true, I have not had my medical as I have been in the US. I get back to the UK on Saturday and will try and sort the medical ASAP.

Then I am hoping to email the embassy asking for an earlier interview date.

my police check i toook to knightsbridge was a photocopy of the original, was no problem, and yes its what they told me get your medical done when case is at nvc get a much quicker interview, so heres hoping we get one before end of october

The thing is we don't know how many people that ARENT on vj are actually being processed as well. So even though it seems like a long ways off the other people on VJ had their cases closed nearly a month before mine. In july a gal was assinged an interview date on Sept 23. He case closed on the 12th of July and she didn't get her interview date until August 2nd. I don't mind waiting less than 2 months it gives me something to countdown now.

Yeah it doesn't say it anywhere. They should put it on there really but I guess they haven't updated their information! Doesn't help people trying to plan.

its annoying the interview dates are gettin assigned to people so far away eg case complete 23rd august interview oct 13th, crazy,i hope we get one quick :S

nope, as long as you have your NVC case number thats all u need, as well as other things like police certificate, vaccine records, any hospitalization records, 1 passport photo, your passport, your case number (NVC) an i think thats its, he set his up before we even had any of the bills paid, strangly i think the UK is one of the very few countries that allow you to do this

No interview date here.. I thought just maybe I would get one today because you two had but no such luck.

The reps repeatedly stated that interviews are not scheduled until the first 2 weeks of the prior month.. even though I kept reminding them they were not being truthful...

Do the e-mails go out when the interview is scheduled or is it still worth calling NVC to find out as soon as possible? Does anyone know if the AVR mentions interview dates or what time of the day the NVC stops scheduling interviews for the day?

I am a bit obsessive, think I might call back. I am somewhat worried I won't get an interview in October because they are already on the 20th.. maybe they only schedule for Thursdays - wish I could figure it out.

no they are on any given day, ive seen people on CR1 have interviews in london monday tuesday etc

We're not far behind- we had an RFE scare over the weekend but should be back on track now. Sent the DS-230 package to NVC on 8/19 so hoping for a CC to happen within the next few business days, fingers crossed!!

Will keep an eye on this thread to see when the interview dates start coming in! He has his medical at the end of September, so I'd be excited to get any date from the 2nd week of October and on.

little secret i was told at knightsbridge, get your medical asap, our case is now nearing CC and my hubby has had his medical, they told him the embassy will get the results an log them into comp, then when nvc go to schedule the interview they will see the medicals done an instead of the standard 6-8week wait they give u, ull find they give u an interview withing 2-3 weeks of CC, also we had our case expedited at USCIS, got NVC done quick so didnt need to ask there but will defo be askn for a closer interview due to the reasons case was expedited, so theres ways to get the interview sooner, medical being done before nvc cc is a big one, having a genuine reason to get interview asap is another, good luck to all my fellow brits chris

just a rough estimate(peace of mind) we had our case expidated and approved after 60days at uscis, paid both AOS and IV bills an sent them today to get there tomorrow, hubby just had medical today an passed embassy will receive the results friday, how long from this point we are at now, can we expect his interview, the docs said having his medical early plus the expedite we shouldn't be looking at no later than late September / early October latest is this true, so eager to get him home(as is everyone) just wondering if anyone can give us a ''rough''time frame from now

Sorry to hear that, is she IN the us just now? i dont think you can lie your way through the next 2 years of the process as you do have to show proof of 2years as in joint bank statments when u adjust after 2years, distance an time is a killer, trust me i no, im sorry things are bad, i will pray for you, loves never lost even in its last breath, good luck

Ok we we had our case expedited at USCIS for my sick health an loss of earnings and being in difficulty with our child and needing my husband back for many reason etc etc and were approved, we have paid both AOS and IV bills we are mailing the ds230 an I864 an everything else monday. how long can we expect now providing no hickups or RFEs until his interview in London and whats the chances if any we can ask for an earlier interview once assigned one?

our anniversary is oct 14th be sweet to get home before then, ill be asking the embassy to bring the interview date forward of they can so i hope it shouldnt be to long i just want a rough figure weeks wise what we are looking at from where we are now
