I tried that too but not call I emailed and I got an email back in 5minutes saying that they didn't have my case yet its still NVC because until they receive it from NVC they won't know anything of the case yet. That's my understanding

Thanks for you wish, do you think my state congress man can help me if i call them...i do Not know...please pray for us it is so frustrated waiting each month the first two weeks and then call them they tell you the same thing everytime.

I honestly don't know if at this point they can help because they can not make another country make a spot for you guys but I'm not sure maybe someone who has more info on this would like to help my friend gtess? I know with USCIS we can get our congressman to help but i don't know about interview.

Yup you are right...I dont know what to do...is there anybody above them to complin about it or just wait whenever they schedule you..noo i can Not wait I may come back home forever...I am so sad about there process...can you imagine that since i see my wife(started the process) one year and they hold it up by saying waiting to schedule...hope on OCT for us!!!

Oh I understand it's crazy when we have to wait in line again but you know what It's ok It's not a REF or DENIAL It's crazy that you have been waiting for 4 months for an interview and wow It would bring me joy to see that you get yours in OCT just keep giving your wife Hope and Encouragement and after this long process is over with trust me I know my husband and I will appreciate each other more because this experience is not easy it's different from other married couples who marries and gets to see their spouses everyday. one day it'll be our turn, I'm just praying it's soon.

do any of you know what this is about?????? im a bit confused because my fiances I-94 expired in June and we r sending his AOS papers on monday... ( AAHh does this count towards even like ppl that enter US legally... because i believe who ever enters on a fiance visa thats legal... i hope im not wrong haha ... sorry it just freaked me out... dnno if any of you know anything about this...i might of misunderstood the article... heelp

Hi WELCOME!! It's a wonderful Friday!!! One week down another to go and then it'll be SEPTEMBER!!

My case was completed on August 10, 2011 and they had told me they might give me october since september was full. I was told to wait till september to call back. I called today for a different question and they told me my appt was scheduled already for Oct6!!! So everyone just keep calling NVC and talk to reps because the automated machine may not be updated on ur case!!!

i tried scheduling appointment online im I-R1 category to this site cgifederal.secure.force.com it went through i got september 26 date. my question is can i keep the appointment date, without appointment letter from NVC?

Me too I hate it when they always say the 2nd week of next month I have been waiting for 4 months since my wife case completed...we all frustrated..but hope we will hear something good news on OCT soon...

WOW 4 MONTHS!!! wow I Pray October is the Month for you guys, it's so crazy how the wait continues and waiting for an e-mail of some good news or for the opp to say yes they've scheduled us wow this is so much but is worth it at the end we will be with our love ones and that day will come very soon, because this too shall past!

The NVC completed our case earlier this month. We were hoping for a September interview but the consulate in Juarez is overbooked... We'll have it in October. I know it.

Hi people... My case closed at NVC on 8/16. I was told I just missed the September interviews (they closed the books on Sep interviews on 8/20) so I am assuming October should be good to go. I was not planning on really watching closely until about mid next week (Sep 1st) but with October dates going to India, Philippines, and the UK today I am perking up and paying attention again! The perfect day for me (travel wise) is Oct 10.. hoping hoping hoping....

I am happy to WELCOME you to this forum, came have a seat come and talk and come and wait with us!! I thought we were going to get an interview for September but didn't and I've been thinking that Haiti was the only country backed up you know what I pray we all Get our OCTOBER INTERVIEWS!!!

Money is definitely a factor, as is safety and health. I DID NOT attend the interview. I DID write a second letter stating my intention to marry my fiance and also with regrets that I could not attend the interview for health and safety reasons. I had this letter notarized and I sent it via DHL so it had original signature and he submitted it with packet 3.5. There is an ongoing advisory for US Citizens to avoid travel to Haiti and there is an ongoing cholera crisis. In addition, it is now prime hurricane season.

Of course, nobody knows what's going to happen. I will say that all of his paperwork was in precise order and my fiance was well practiced for the interview. It was stressful but he was approved.

You're right there is a lot happening in Haiti and every time I visit I make sure to keep an eye open. A person must know of the environment they are going to. We always make sure we keep each other inform Thanks everyone, because we need all of our resources and references to survive in this life.
