I like this question!!! I'm so tired of NOPIN!!!!! lol what is Rebtel? and I also use EZETOP to "top off" his phone for him to call me but the taxes on that sucker is crazy!!! we also use yahoo a lot he has a blackberry. I thought i saw somewhere here about another source but forgot. ALSO WITH NOPIN AND EZETOP CALL HISTORIES OR CHARGE HISTORIES ARE THERE FOR US TO SHOW AS PROOF OF COMMUNICATIONS.

  2. Hello Haiti filers. The VJ community has been a big help to me and my fiance. He is finally here with me but not without help from VJ. One thing that helped me was talking to other people who filed in the Haiti portal. So I wanted to create a thread where we can all come together can talk about where we are in the VJ process and share with other Haiti filers about our experience, ask questions, and share about the experience. So an nous pale ansam pou yon aide lot or let's come together to help one another.

sign me up If anyone needs help with this process please feel free to post here or write me.good.gif It's time consuming but this is not an impossible journey. God bless

  3. Since I have joined VJ I have seen a lot of people from Haiti have gotten approved but I never seen anybody writing about if any evidence was asked for and if so what was it? or is it safe to conclude that no evidence was asked for and the questions answers were enough for the CO.

    Morning sweetie,

I agree with the info given above I wouldn't come across so rude but we do need to provide proof my huby and I are going through everything he has a copy of everything I sent in and also a full photo album of us since we were little kids and family pics too. Tickets for so many different visits. We also have phone records for him and myself going back as far as I could go. We also have emails and Facebook and MySpace as far as I could go. I think the strategy is no matter what the more evidence one has of a relationship the better it is for a quick interview and approval. We also think of the different questions they'll ask and we go over them my thing is these questions are questions that in a relationship one should already know but its how my husband will answer them that counts. I figure the more we drill lol even if he gets nervous it will be 2nd nature to him but my huby is a very intelligent man I know he will have no problem. God is always in control directing if we allow. So please if you had any doubt about showing proof or not delete that because a lot of us don't write reviews but lately most are starting too. Key words BE PREPARED

  4. Wow! 16 weeks?? Was your case on a background hold or something?

They just set my wifes date to 12/22/11, and I am very happy. Although its great news, it also means i'll miss Christmas and New Years :(

  5. Yes, I am a USC living in Haiti and my husband is Haitian. We want to file the I-130 in Port au Prince, and then hope to be able to file the DS-230 there as well. I wondered if anyone else had tried to do this and what their experience was.

ok wow that is one case that us over here on the Haiti forums don't see much of there was only 3 reported and only one seems to be active maybe if you contact them it should help or you can chose another country that has a lot of people on that case to compare and contrast with yours. I'll keep looking okgood.gif

  6. While waiting for my NOA2, can I go ahead and have my Haitian fiance get a police record and go to the approved physician for his medical or does this have to come AFTER the NOA2?

    hi,

I suggest you wait for the NOA2 the reason why i say that is you don't want to spend money and something happens and you have to redo everything again, I KNOW that there isn't a long wait for the police record in Haiti and you need you interview paper to get your medical done too. They even asked my husband to provide the NOA2 to get his Police record. Just get everything else ready like the BC Passports and other papers needed for that step, I'm CR1 so i'm not 100% sure what paper is needed for K1s. good luckgood.gif

  7. Hey mani0118

my case as a CR1 was expedited but the thing is at USCIS all Haitian Apps are supposed to be expedited but when i called to ask information and making sure that it would be I was asked to request one because they don't automatically do it. However, that was my case and I've seen many on her K1s and CR1s who's been approved 20 days or less. Hope this help and about the wedding your plan is the same plan my hubby and I had now i'm working on preparing for our big USA Haitian wedding. good luck
