hey mine has been since March of 2011 & still no NOA2

the only response I got yesterday is "this case is currently under extensive background check"

We went through the extensive background check, there is really nothing you can do to speed things up. I know I felt like we were just lost in a black hole, but you do finally get that NOA2 and things go pretty quickly then. Praying for all of us. hk9302010

Just read your topic today. Congrats on the appeal process being over. I do believe you must file again. I could be wrong. But if the appeal on the denial turned out with a message that said the court turned over the denial and has now approved the petiton instead of saying the court dismissed the appeal, then I would say you do not have to file again. I could be wrong.

At least they are looking at your case...it may be another while yet but it will happen...we waited over three months from the date our rfe was issued but at least we heard. Hugs.

I know but we already waited 8 months for an RFE,and I am starting to believe I will be spending Christmas alone again this year.

my VJ friends im praying for all of us, this is my 41th day since i sent my AOS, i really need the EAD ASAP!! my hubby is a full time student at USF he has loans and his intern with the govt will end soon, ugh our savings are evaporating, well guys we must keep faith and no matter how many emotions we are feeling trust God that he has control.. and its good to know we all have each other

i just got an email from USCIS for interview 7/20/11 im very excited and happy i though it was going to be for november but it took only 3 months or less. but still no change in my EAD :s

For you too. I think I am going to have to find a way to calm down and not think about this 24/7. This has been overwhelming not knowing how long the wait will be and what could possibly happen at the end. When I first started this process, I thought the worse would be 6 months total wait. I had no idea that we would have to wait indefinitely, never knowing when this could end.

Yeah we have one!! Very happy and I think most of the AmeriTurks are booked for Ankara. Not sure what's up with your case, but something doesn't seem right. Strange.

So how long until your interview. I am trying to get an idea of how long after NOA2 we might get an iterview.

You should call the Embassy to find out regarding your category. I can't help you cuz we're not the same; we're I-129's. When you get your NOA2 ask the NVC yourself. They love to answer this question.

At least you are not letting them forget you. An October filer just got approved out of VSC this morning. There is hope for us all.

I forgot to add that the CO will ask your husband some simple questions such when you met,etc.. but he/she will focus more about the legitimacy of your marriage. good luck

Why did they send you back to the USCIS? You were approved by the USCIS and NVC then at the interview they sent you back to the USCIS? What was the reason? I find that very scary.
