Wanda and Amel

Heading down to Miami in about an hour. Amel's flight should depart from Cienfuegos at approximately 5:00 p.m. I hope it is on time. He should be here around 6:00 p.m. Here's praying that everything goes well and that customs and immigration move quickly!!!

OMG!! Less than 36 hours and he will be here. I am so nervous.

Amel has been told that his Carta Blanca should be ready within 25 days from 3/23. We'll see. You all know how it is in Cuba!!! lol

Visa in hand!!!

Amel is on his way to Havana to pick up his visit!!! Next: Process to obtain Cuban exit permit (carta blanca). Now, the worrying begins, AGAIN.

Amel's visa is ready!!! He will go to Havana on Monday to pick it up. Excited and nervous!!

Leaving for the airport now. Flight leaves at 1:00-ish. In a few hours I will be with my baby.... Interview on Thursday, 3/1. Wish us luck!! May the good Lord shine His grace upon us!

Okay, my vacation has officially begun!!!! Leaving for Cuba on Tuesday and our interview is on Thursday. Picture this: Wanda jumping up and down... woo hoo!!!

Well, Amel's mom is leaving to return to Cuba on Tuesday, 2/14. I leave to go to Cuba on 2/28 and our intereview is in exactly 21 days. Getting nervous, anxious, excided, and many other emotions that I can't describe. So close I can see, but can't grasp it yet.

30 days til interview!!! So nervous.

Amel's mom is here from Cuba visiting. She spent 4 days with me at my home. We had a great time!!! His sister who lives in Miami came is spent 2 of those days with me too.
