  1. of the interview. Everything that I sent that was in Lao I had to sent a certified english translation as well. I asked the director of the Center for new Americans to translate them and to include a letter certifying that he was certified to translate in Lao.

  2. Hello, What I sent with my 129F was everything that is under the guidelines on the visajourney website under K1 guideline. I also sent out the originals of my Engagement agreement, my fiance's birth Certificate, her Police record, and her Certificate of being a single person in her village. I did not send out form I-134 because that is a requirement for the fiance to take at the time

  15. Her Police Certificate (translated and within 6 months), your I-134 with supportive evidence, your proofs of relationship i.e. photos, email, phone logs, snail mail, plane tickets, restaurant hotel receipts etc...proof you've been there within the last 2 years. All of these are important to prove that you have a real relationship and that you can support her and she will not

  16. bank statements, letter from your employer etc...) all this in original form to be sent to her or if you are going to her interview for her to take to her interview. when she is going to the interview, these are the critical documents that she must have: Her original Birth Certificate (with translation in English), her family registry book, her passport, her Lao ID,

  17. she will turn in her completion slip and packet #3 (with the 3 passport photo) back to the US embassy. They will then schedule an interview for about 1 month later. (with packet #3 is form I-134 which she is supposed to mail to you to fill and provide supportive evidence. Just print one from the internet fill it out then provide all supporting evidence (check stub, tax return,

  18. both forms must be filled in English. (to speed things up you can fill it all in and mail it to her to sign so she won't have to worry about filling it or pay someone to do it. remember to also fill in and return the INSTRUCTION FORM to packet #3 as well. your fiance will also be required to turn in 2 passport photos as well. Once she has finished the medical

  19. ok bro so it looks like about 3-4 weeks and you fiance will receive a call from the US embassy in laos to go pick up her paperwork to go get her medical exam. She will also be picking up her packet #3 here is the link to that packet http://laos.usembassy.gov/fiance_2011.html . your fiance will be required to fill all the forms of the packet which will be in duplicates (lao and English)

  20. and make her appointment for her interview at which time all of your information (i-134 and etc...) should be in her hand to take to her interview. I apologize I am at work so I don't have time to explain but when I have the time I will explain to you in more detail. Congrats again

  21. Congratulations. Now what you need to do is get your I-134 ready with all supporting evidence as well as your prrof of relationship evidence. your fiance will receive a call in about 3-4 weeks from the Embassy in laos to go get her medical exam. She will be picking up packet#3. when she fills out packet #3 and gets her medical exam she can then go back to the Embassy

Life is not something to triffle with, be careful and put a lot of thoughts into it. I'll talk to you if I ever run into you on FB again.
