ummm, I haven't heard of a denial after AP. I suggest you start a topic with that actual question. I am curious to know as well. Good luck!

Did you tell them the truth? That you lied on the form to show ties to Egypt? That would've been the smart thing to do- then apologize. Arguing with the one person that holds your future in his/her hands wasn't smart. Get a good lawyer and have your children petition for you. You're married to mervat, even if you're not- which is very sad and tragic.

The reason this is a tragic story is because you lied on the form in the first place. You wanted a tourist visa and you told them you were married to mervat. It came back to bite you in the ####. The form is an official form you signed and it is in the embassy, on your file- forever. Second, you didn't bring evidence! I still do not understand why. You know you were supposed to do that.

Their job is to do background checks and to verify information. S/he has evidence of bigamy, even if you claim you're being falsely accused. If you aren't married to Mervat, then gather all the evidence and have your petitioner call senators. Other than that, s/he may counterattack: you didn't go prepared to the interview. It sounds like you didn't haev evidence or you were hidi...

IT is not clear racial persecution, I hate to say. You didn't bring the needed evidence, therefore you weren't prepared. Your petitioner may be able to re-open the case and complain. But you have a problem: you didn't bring the "official document" you claim to have. The interview stage is to have all of this set up; not to start gathering evidence. Of course s/he will accuse...

You need to call NVC and ask them when they forwarded the case to the embassy. Then call the embassy and see if they sent the packet.

Call the consulate. If not call NVC and ask when they forwarded the case. That'll give you an idea.
