Thank you for the construcive criticsm. We have talked about it many time at length, but we could never come to an agreement. I want her here more than anything I know she wants to be here too. The problem is that I will feel such guilt and remorse if I bring her here and I am not able to provide food or shelter. That is not how I want my wife to live. I want to make sure we are stable before we do anything, and I should have done more due diligence before I sent in the I129. I just wanted to be with here, and didn't think much about the financial aspects.

Yes I am basically ignoring Gary. The reason why I need to spend money on books is so I can complete my chemical engineering degree and get a job that pay a lot more than $10 so we can have a successful life. I think Gary missed the part about needing to save money also so we can take care of our bills when she gets here. Additionally, I mentioned that I need to make sure I have enough money to take care of all the paperwork and medical exam and so on for the USCIS. I think Gary just likes to talk about books. I am also ignoring the people that say "run, dont get married."

I AM new to this and I don't know all the intricacies of this site. I appreciate you putting the correct topics in the correct place, but give some advice to new people instead of just moving stuff around. I'm done with this topic. Ever since payxibka moved our "Types of income for I134" thread to the US Embassy and Consulate Discussion, we have not received any more responses. Is it possible to just leave the threads where they are? Does payxibka do anything else other than moving threads?

Thank you to everyone that explained why the posts are moved. An explanation would have been nice and for all the people that have been on this site forever, thanks for all the help because it has definitely made the process MUCH easier. Why would anyone pay for a lawyer when they can just come here for advice? It's beyond me.
