  1. I don't think it will be a problem, but I am going to move you over to the Philippines regional forum so you can get a more specific answer regarding the passport.

    Moving to:

    *** Philippines Regional***

    thank you very much

  2. ok so this is really what ever question but i will ask it anyways, on my passport my address is not the same with the address i put on our papers on I-129F its address on my mums place where she used to live but my papers and everything is address to where i grow up and live ( if u asked why i address it to my mum address its bcoz she forced me to use it and somehow it piss me off and makes me kinda mad at her when she acts and think she knows better even i told her if i am going to process my papers it might cause problems with me and my fiancee but she never listened and also that address is where she also signed me on my voters papers so its kinda bad for her to make me put wrong information coz i never really live where she use to its just that she hates our barangay so much coz its so useless and wont help people and she wants me to be regestered in a good place where people help ya with papers like barangay clearance n blah ) so anyways in philippine passport it wont show ur address but i think they will do some verification and i am affraid it might cause some problems, please advise what should i do if it will have some problems and if does what should i do ,should i change address and stuff?thanks

  4. Manila is known to be tough regarding cosponsors for K visa petitions. Many of the successful petitioners have been those recently entering the workforce and having a close blood relative as the cosponsor.

is that mean that they will accept a co-sponsor ( which he will be using his mother ) or is that means they only use co-sponsor under certain limitations and reasons? please help

  5. Are you talking about the letter of intent to go in with the 129f petition? If so you would put the USCIS address that the 129f is being sent off to both of them. You are not sending a letter of intent to Manila. This goes with 129f petition here in the USA.

thank you so much we were just confused in the exmple forms and didnt wanna take the risk and having to send back and forth the papers to me from US and blah, thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  6. [quote name=ER Team :)' timestamp='1300797584' post='4557250]

You put the address of U.S embassy in the country where your fiance- beneficiary resides. So you got it right.

so does that mean the US Petitioners letter of intent also has to say or put "manila US embassy on his letter of intent?" which means me and him will have the same answer on that one? thanks so much for the help :)

  7. How does my US fiancee fill out his letter of intent question being embassy address? on my letter of intent i wrote down ( US Embassy Manila Philippines

Address 1201 Roxas Blvd.Manila 1000,Philippines) so does the US petitioner on his letter of intent put Manila's embassy address or his country embassy address????? please help, thanks

  8. You dont need parents consent in your k1-packet. You might probably need it for your interview (but you are already 19 so I think its not required but just bring one in case they asked) or CFO seminar soon.

I think you already gathered what its needed for your k1-packet with all the help of the VJers here. Triple check it then your good to go.

yeppie, thanks sis, everything good now, everything we need is complete na, thanks to everyone he will send it this monday! it means his goin home soon :( anyway thanks for everyones help it surely did help us a lot were so thankful and happy, thanks guys

  9. Congrats on your engagement Myrna! You sure do look good together. You need not worry if the relationship is genuine and you have met all the requirements.

Post in the Philippine forum so people can give you country specific advise. Aside from the visa application, one thing you need to do is obtain a consent letter from your parents that they are agreeing with your marriage and then attend the CFO seminar once you have your visa approved. :)

hey thanks for the information, the parents consent thing do we need to make one to send a long the I-129f form?? please advice coz his filling soon this coming monday, hopefully everything will be fine, just like everyone, and again thanks very much to everyone who is helping couples like me!!!!!!

thanks everyone i surely do appreciate everything you advise to us! hoping that everything will be alright, thanks again! god bless all

  10. One visit meets the requirement. There are people who have been approved with only one meeting. But, more meetings are better and will give you a better chance of getting approved.

thank you for the information it surely help us decide and consider some things, you guys sure been a good help specially with people like us that just started the process i hope everything will go smoth n fine with us and everyone! god bless to those who are still in the same stage in our journey!

  11. 11 years age difference is not a big deal at all, also one single visit is depends on the country, country such as Dominican Republic or Haiti with a single trip will most likely earn you a denial. I know two people that has been denied due to insufficient trip (a single trip).

And you guys look beautiful together, nice picture!!!

thank you very much, i am from philippines have you heard about phillippines?
