  1. We arrived in the US with my 17 year old son about 6 weeks ago, we have received his US passport - we applied for it immediately so we can travel outside the country if needed... but we received a visa packet fee of $220 for any packets processed in the US. Since we have a US passport already we don’t need his green card anymore? Do we still have to pay the fee to get his green card?

    Thanks all!

Theres no 'continue' or 'save' option :(

Hi Internet is not very good in the province lol! My son’s photo that I uploaded was not successful so I had to take another picture and upload it again and once it appeared up to I was able to print the barcode and at the same time received an appointment confirmation via email!

    Very doubtful .

Someone else was trying to do this recently, they didn't succeed .. their posts are on here

I don’t think they send a confirmation via email, I didn’t get one either! There’s a download and print barcode button at the bottom, as of today I still haven’t been able to download ot and our schedule is on Monday first thing in the morning. I may have to solicit some of my friends back in the US to attempt to download the barcode and send it to me via email. Quite a challenging system I may say. Here’s to hoping it works...

    2)  immigrant data sheet comes with the do not open Visa package from the embassy if you are a immigrant Visa recipient

I was expecting a packet with do not open package but there wasn’t any we had to open the package because it said to check the information on the visa... they returned the original birth certificate, his photos and his NBI along with the passport. It was literally a thin transparent plastic. 😞

  6. Hello!

You guys have been so helpful! So I’m asking a couple more questions as there’s no information I can find online for these! I tried calling and phones in the Philippines that are posted are usually incorrect numbers when you call - yes including the CFO phone number that is posted.

    Anyways, here are my questions!

    (1) somehow the barcode confirmation for the reservation is not generating thus I can’t print it anyone has had the same issue? If so, what did you do to resolve? I used the phone and a laptop! Does that mean that my registration and my reservation has been confirmed?

    (2) one of the requirements was the IMMIGRANT DATA SUMMARY?  Is this the CFO form that was filled out?

    (3) lastly, there is no specific instruction whether we should go to a specific location in Manila (where we opted to attend the seminar) or any nearest CFO for the actual peer counseling? Should we just pick out a location and show up 2 hours before the seminar?

We (think) we’re scheduled for Monday morning session 9:30 to noon.

Please help! Thank you so much!

DO MAKE SURE YOUR DELIVERY ADDRESS IS CORRECT
You have only 24 hrs after your interview to update this information!

To update your delivery preference follow this link:
    http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-iv-documentdelivery.asp

If you son is an IR2 the visa fee was paid to NVC before they gave you the interview date.

    Tracking & Visa Delivery Preference

To track your visa status on the CEAC use the link below:
    https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA==

To track your visa status on USTRAVELDOCS this link is an option:

Here is a list for 2GO locations:

    Tracking your visa through 2GO:
    http://supplychain.2go.com.ph/CustomerSupport/tools/tracking.asp

One Additional Way Of Checking your Passport/Visa Status

You can verify the status by sending your passport number as the SUBJECT and email to
    passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com

If you receive an automated reply that says "Not Delivered," then your passport is  ready for pick-up at
    the 2GO branch you selected.

Prior to "Not delivered," the status would be "Transit from post".

Thank you Hank! You’ve always been helpful!

Last one... my son is 17 does he need to go to PDOS when I explored it said that only 20-59 years old need to go!

Which visa?  If Visa was approved at interview you already paid the MRV fee

It’s an IR2 Visa for my son. They gave us a slip saying to register online or they won’t be able to deliver the visa but I can’t seem to find how!

  10. Visa approved at Interview however I can’t find the actual link to register to get the visa delivered, I’m sure its here somewhere but internet is sporadic. And also where do I pay for the visa? If someone could send me to the link of the process after approval I would truly appreciate it! Thank you!

The passport must be valid for 6 months beyond the date of the trip

    https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/apply-renew-passport/faqs.html

"Some countries require that your passport be valid at least six months beyond the dates of your trip. Some airlines will not allow you to board if this requirement is not met.  Consider the following scenario: A country requires that you have at least six months of validity on your passport. You currently have seven months of validity on your passport.  However, your trip is two months from now. At that point, you will only have five months of validity remaining on your passport which is not enough to satisfy that country's entry requirements. In this situation, you would need to renew your passport before you can make your trip."

Thank you we ended up renewing his passport! Got the new passport and now rescheduling, the new passport number is different though, I scheduled the new appt with the new passport number is that going to be an issue? Do I call anyone to have them note the changes?

    thank you again! So helpful

I went to st Luke's hospital yesterday (january 8- tuesday) around 12nn and the process went smoothly. It was so nice that I went during lunch time because I don't need to fall in line. First I did is to gave my requirements on the first floor right side U can see a signage there something like US reception area then next I paid my medical fee. So the first step i did on the medical process is the x-ray  second is blood test third is urine test fourth is immunization interview then the last is the physical exam this includes checking your weight, height, blood pressure, eyes then last thing is I went inside a private room the doctor asked me to undress ohhh no i got anxious all I knew is i need to take off all my clothes including underwear but its not only my pants and tshirt. The doctor only asked few questions and checked my heart beat then checked my whole body(left side, right side and my back). The doctor is super nice she talked smoothly i really like her i don't know her name but her room is at no 10. I finished my medical around 2:30pm that was totally fast.  January 9 today at 2pm they asked me to return for the result. I can't stop thinking about the result of my medical, feels like torture for me, I can't sleep even my fiance told me think positive but theres a little negative on my mind because of what Ive read on here and what Ive watched on YouTube that they gone sputum test it's feels me anxious. So at 2pm I returned to the hospital the guard type my name I think or my receipt no then here you go it say second floor that means I passed the medical so I'm for immunization yippy I got teary eyes and thank God I passed. They gave me 3 vaccines then I went to releasing area they gave the cd the brown envelope for the usem it says do not open then the immunization record. Finally one step closer...looking forward to the last step which is my interview. Answered prayer. Thanks God.

Is the address for the medical for 1177 j bocobo st. Ermita, Manila?

    1)    Totally unknown.   Until you receive your Case Complete notice NVC won't even contact the embassy for an interview date.

    2)    After the interview, what you want to watch for is ISSUED status on the CEAC website .. from then it can be another 3-10 business days before the visa package is in hand.

Depending on the age of your child CFO - PDOS peer counseling may be required.    Under 12 years of age only need to register and get the sticker in his passport (after receiving the visa)
