  1. oops sorry mod/admin i didn't realize I had posted in the wrong forum. Are you able to move it please?
  2. Parents received a GREEN 221g. Officer asked for my W2 (but did not specify what year) for my dads case - which was already uploaded at the NVC stage - but I uploaded again today when mum told me. Weird that its also requested for dad's case and not mums too. The only box that is checked on the 221g is for me to DX courier my british birth certificate. They did not keep their passports. If I courier my BC via DX, do I need for them to acknowledge and expect and ask for their passports to be couriered? Just thinking of what might happen if or when its suffice for them that they received what they asked for.... Would there be harm in sending the passports together with the BC? I got the Courier-In Authorization Certificate generated from https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv/users/sign_in But not sure what to do with it? Says "This certificate authorizes tadeo, nenita to use the designated CSRA courier to deliver supporting visa application documents to the United States London Consulate free of charge" I also emailed DX for a quote on pickup and delivery and return service - is this the correct procedure on using the DX certifcate and for DX to pickup from mums house? Even though I uploaded my W2, I will send to mum with my british BC to then DX courier to the consulate - or should I not do this?
  3. Does mum need to bring the I-1864 (I am the sponsor for mum and dad) to their visa interview?
  4. Wise, Revolu, OFX - any others? What are the tax implications if any from the UK and to receiving large amount in the US?
  5. do they ship only boxes? or do they ship non boxed items? like bed, sofa, table and chairs?
  6. And can someone breakdown the actual shipping process? From the moment they come to assess what you want to bring over to the moment it is in the US and ready for delivery? Can someone breakdown the steps for me please? thanks!
  7. Parents got their interview scheduled for Feb 5 next year. What date is acceptable to do the medical - is that decided upon Knightsbridge? i.e i read 5 days PRIOR to the interview, so can they not have it any earlier than 5 days before the interview?
  8. Is it possible for a parent to be interviewed SEPERATELY, based on one parent being DQ'd first before the other parent is DQ'd? Can I request NVC for them to be interviewed together? This is for London, UK
  9. do they need to go to each of their respective local registrars
  10. Mum and Dad's Philippine BC's were rejected. Both are from the 'Office of the Local Civil Registrar' - does it need to say PSA on the document???? I'm confused. Luckily, they are vacationing right now in Phils. Do they need to get an endorsement or other? @nelmagriffin Mum is from Narvacan, ilocos sur. Dad is from Bani, Pangasisan. Will they need to go to each of their respective local registars to fix this? Please advise.
  11. same message for my mom. Birth certificates are in ENGLISH. No need for translation. Are both from the correct authority body in the Philippines.
  12. yes, and in my case assets are higher than income right now.
  13. right except that in my case, income is not sufficient, as well as having no joint sponsor. What I do have is real estate equity with an appraisal.
  14. I filled and submitted I-864 - still in the early stages of the NVC process - has not been assessed yet by NVC. I have 2 properties. 1 primary in Oklahoma, 1 rental/investment in TX (currently no tenant occupied - moved out in August), after which I put the house on the market. Has about $100k equity. has been appraised for $275k, remaining balance about $168k. How much of a pain for the I-864 would it be if I didn't end up selling the TX property and we occupied it, rather than live here in OK? Where the form asks where would my parents live, I put down the OK address. But there is also space for them in the TX house.
  15. 2023 joint tax/ joint income -$93,947 2022 joint tax/joint income - $119,268 2021 joint tax/joint income - $115,382 I have tax transcripts and W2's selling rental property appraised at $275,000, equity of $100,000 after paying loan balance of $168,000 household size 7 - $59,175 current (self not joint) income $45,760 difference = $13,415 * 5 = $67,075 Thoughts? For the property, I have appraisal report, deed and mortgage loan balance. Do I also submit 2023, 2022 and 2021 W2's?
