just another quick question. When my fiancee receives her visa, is it a possibility for me to travel to meet her and have a religious wedding and then travel back with her to the states to have the legal wedding?

It took my cousin 2 years to complete the process. He said it was from simple mistakes like putting, "No" instead of "N/A". His then-fiancee is from the Philippians.

That's why I'm so apprehensive in doing it on my own. Did you have any help whatsoever?

She has been asking if it is possible, that once she receives the K-1 visain Peru, for us to get married in a church in Peru ( I would travel to Peru once she receives the visa) -- and then travel to the states with her K-1 and get married legally in the states.
