  1. Hope this will be your week. I'm visiting my fiancee' in Peru while we wait for the embassy packet. The mail system here stinks, so I may just knock on the embassy's door to get it myself. :)

  2. What is going on with your NOA2, pal? Do you think you got an RFE? That would only make sense.

  3. APPROVED!

  4. How ya doin'? It's getting close! Keep checking the USCIS website as that is how you'll find out when you are approved

They will post that you are/are not approved and that paperwork will be mailed to you.

I'm on day 115 with California Service Center. Hang in there!

  5. GOOD LUCK ON THE INTERVIEW TOMORROW!!!

  6. Hey there,

I also received the NOA1 recently (today, actually) so I'm looking for information on the NOA2 and required financial information. Check out all this information first:

  7. Hello!

My fiancee is also from Peru and we received our NOA1 in the mail today. To keep up with USCIS correspondence I'd like to add you as my VJ friend. Thanks!

  8. Hello. My fiancee' is also from Peru and we received our NOA1 today. I'd like to add you as a friend so we can correspond with our K-1 vias progress. Thank you!

  9. Hope your journey is going well! We received the NOA1 today. I'm interested to keep in touch with folks who have similar time frames. I'll add you if you don't mind. Thank you!

  10. Thx for the info. It helps knowing that my part is mostly done for quite awhile.

  11. I'm using a co-sponsor, btw. I'm actually collecting unemployment, so I need to fix that fast. I sent a bunch of on-going relationship stuff with the I-129F, too.

  12. So because of that (read below) I've got more questions for you.

When I receive the NOAs, will they tell me what to do? Or do I go by what VJ says about the I-134 and other stuff. (some of it is kinda vague) Just wondering how much I should be doing while I wait. Thanks!

  13. Congrats on doing the 2-month dance! lol

I sent my I-129F today; when I receive NOAs, will they tell me what to do? Or do I go by what VJ says about the I-134 and other stuff. Just wondering how much I should be doing while I wait. Thanks.

  14. Yeah, I like Peru a lot, mostly because thats where my fiancee is from! Thanks for the "congrats".

  15. I sent in the I-129F today!!!

  16. I sent in the I-129F today!!!

  17. Hello,

Everything sounds really great from your end being received. Congrats! I'm excited because today our I-129F was sent in the mail.

Hope everything goes with for you. I'll keep watching your progress.

  18. Karyna,

Now that I sent in the I-129F, I edited my visa time-line. yes! Question: How does everyone create that little time-line at the end of their signature? There are so many different kinds - are they from different websites?

    Congrats on the NOA2!

  19. thx for the comment

  20. Thanks,

Yeah, the people on this site has been really great. I'm really glad I just jumped in instead of using a lawyer. Lots of patience.. I was waiting a year to find a lawyer and make enough money. Now I'm finally starting the visa and using Visa Journey & a cosponsor. We are DONE waiting! At least this way there is a light at the end of the tunnel. :)

    Thx for the c...

  21. So I've put together all my evidence, including a "letter of verification" from the mission trip organization my fiancee and I worked for in Peru.

My question now is on the birth certificate & passport.

Birth Certificate: Photocopy, Front & Back

Passport: Photocopy: Every page? Or just Photo-page and pages with stamps?

  22. Your message you sent me tonight was cut off short. Your last sentence was, "When I sent the I-129F (may 2010) the instructions were to send to either CA or VT, depending upon which state you a..."

What I understand is this: Send I-129F to Dallas Lockbox. However, I'm not sure when I know where my service center is and why I need to know it!

    Thanks!

  23. I have so many random questions. I read on VJ that my documents in the I-129F need to have two-holes at the top and tabs on the bottom. So I'm going to look for a 2-ring binder with the rings on the top, not on the side. Is this correct with how you did it?

Also how will I know where my "USCIS Service Center is located?" I understand that I send ALL I-129F packages...

  24. Oh wow, $75. I've been looking at these K-1 Visa agencies online and they want $800+.

I didn't realize how great this website was, so I'm going to do it on my own (with everyone's help in this community!) and shouldn't be too bad.
