Jay & Cici got a reaction from Shauneg in My USC Husband Does Not Want to Sign I-864
I am sorry that you are going through this. From what I have understood not unless I am missing out a part of the story, he is a total sc#m bag. I quoted asisflyer on this as I totally agree on the 3. I have been married to my man for 4 years now and believe my we have the craziest roller coaster ride but wow just I-864? I think that guy you married is getting ready for a divorce. I dont think that he doesnt understand what is a form I-864 or what does it bind him into. I dont think he is that dumb but its his way of saying "honey, look I dont think this thing between you and me still gonna work but I dont want to add more things to mind of if ever it didnt". Anyways, do you work? Do you have your own money? I know these are crazy things to ask but worst comes to worst who knows? He may even stop providing for you and your son. I have an 8 year old daughter who came here as K2 when she was 3. I tell you just like you, I get so defensive and over protective when it comes to her.

    Hi Matt,
I think everyone went the same process as well. You have to make double copies of everything, this is being in a smart way. Why? because there are instances that documents are being lost, sent to different places. My hubby, which is the petitioner went to this process for me. Dont this by alone. let her help you, this will familiarize her to the things that she needs to along the way. Not all of the beneficiaries are allowed to have their fiance with them in the interview, depends on the country i think or to the Consul.
good luck to you and to us.. K1 is really a test of patience, faith and love.

Just want to share our story too. Me and my hubby has 16 hours time difference. And yes, Skype-video chat really helps. We almost spend 24/7 through ways of technology. He would wake up 3am and i would stay up late so we can talk before him going to work and me going to bed..we keep it on while sleeping. we also have skype on our iphones. On weekends, we do stuffs together through Skype. Now he is in CA, we have 18 hours difference. Its really a test for all the couples being apart. And we wished for an hour difference like with you and your other half. They are right, you got a lot of things to do while waiting for the NOA2.. enough time to prepare for the wedding... good luck to us
