IM SICK OF THIS WAITING!!!! THEY CAN'T JUST DO THIS TO HARD WORKING PEOPLE...I WANT TO GET MY WIFE HERE AND HAVE A NORMAL LIFE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE AND THE ONLY THING PREVENTING ME FROM THIS IS THEIR STUPID APPROVAL. I'm very angry and frustrated as I'm sure all of you are...there has to be something we can do...some kind of pressure we can exert...anything? I refuse to be a taxpayer and be helpless against a government organization that refuses to be honest and fortwright with me.

I am dual US/Egypt Citizen and got married in Egypt under my Egyptian Citizenship understanding that America will not recognize this marriage. I received a legal marriage certificate from Egyptian authorities, etc... I applied for a K-1 Fiancee Visa and got i-129f NOA2. But now the USCIS and State Department are telling me to apply for a CR-1 since I am already married. My problem is now I am in the states and want to apply for i-130. I hired a lawyer and explained to him that I got married as an Egyptian. He said that is fine since I have to submit and legal Egyptian marriage certificate.
Would the USCIS accept this certificate for processing? Or do I have to go to the embassy in cairo to get it approved and make it "american"?
