  1. I'd tell him you'll mail the Green Card after he repays you for the debts you incurred on his behalf. After he pays you back, mail the Green Card, but to USCIS.

 i think this is the best advice.

anyway...i'm sorry you're going to have to go through this. no one ever expects this to happen, although there's always a possibility. things happen for a reason even if these things are crappy. maybe God has something else planned for you.

    well...best of luck!

  2. oh no!!! that is so sad. :( i don't know anything about undoing the withdrawal and things like that. i just wanted to offer advice about how you should tell your hubby though...

maybe you should contact a lawyer first and ask him if and how you can undo the withdrawal of the petition. if there is a way, then do whatever you can to undo it, and if your husband doesn't find out about it, then don't tell him. (i know that we're supposed to be honest with our loved ones no matter what, but if you can do something about it, then you can save him the pain of knowing about it right?)

if the lawyer says that you can't do anything about it...then you should tell him.

    uhm...just my thought.

  4. the validity of the nbi certificate is 1 year starting from the date it was issued..

a friend told me that if i get the very recent nbi certificate to show the embassy it will be alot smoother like there will be no questions regarding on my papers.so i planned that im going to get my nbi 2 weeks before my interview, i decided to get it on july 7 and that was yesterday....so i went to the nbi (davao) to get an nbi certificate but i was surprised coz the releasing waiting time will take 3 weeks. and ill be needing that certificate by july 18 lol. :bonk: ugh i didnt know that the nbi was changing there system thats why its taking too long than the usual..

hi! i just read your post....wanted to ask how your interview went? did they accept your old clearance? thanks!

  5. hi! :)

i'm sure your fiance loves you. but loving you won't keep her from being anxious and worried about leaving what she grew up in and what she's been used to for her entire life. filipinos are used to having their family around all the time, watching their back...as well as friends they can call when they need them. we're used to going out on a whim, long drives, cheap beaches, cheap drinks. we're used to work that isn't so stressful. some are also used to the maids who cook and clean and wash the clothes. maybe that's what she meant about things that she's going to give up.

you just have to talk to her about it...that you understand--you have to understand. :D--what she's feeling. the important thing is that you are there to support her and you are there for her the way her family and friends have always been there for her. of course, tell her how you feel as well, that you're feeling paranoid so she can clear things up with you. :)

anyway...good luck!!! chat with her later! :)

  6. We went around 3pm for my daughters medical. No lines, less people, they were able to finish everything needed for the first day of medical. We were out of there 4:30.

    Good Luck!

Yes I can see people coming late in the afternoon and they will not close until they can entertain all that is what the nurse said to me.. the longest line is in the immunization interview.. but the rest is just quick enough..goodluck
