but reading todays post the k1 100 dollar HAS BEEN MENTIONED.

BUT THE ANSWER IS ----------its not for CR-1 !!!!!

now theres a hint of 85 for finger prints.

now all these orders we are given , do this, dont do that, and especially

NO MENTION of finger printing fee .

and hardly a whisper in all cr-1 experience in montreal themes.

blahblah... I had the same question regarding the OF-169 document. Apparently this is the co-sponsor dcument that your father [?] filled out. I believe it may also be considered the 864A... or something like that. I hope that helps at least.

Also, I once heard that fingerprinting costs $80ish but like you, I will be bringing more cash just in case. It's always good to be over-prepared than under.

I'm not sure what the $100 is for, I just know you have to pay it for Cr1/Ir1.

remember we are CR-1 NOT K-1 which I know little about.

I paid for a flight to on wed aug 2nd , so will have to wait till mon in montreal.

no way can I trust the consulate and express post to get the passport from

montreal to toronto in 24hrs.

luckily I have close ties in montreal and I have got a boutique hotel

at rock bottom rate

so will lay back and enjoy ,it will only cost me 200 with tax for 2 extra nights.

and regarding originals it seems you only have the option

of taking your copies , I made the same error when sending first application to

service centre, one of our premier "posters" of the era "sanc"

was quick to point out my sending originals instead of copies.

I did obtain copies of original from the relevant agencies.

but a really good friend is manager of swish boutique hotel.

and hes now booked me there for same rate as ywca

we will do the same from Toronto to Florida.

will go thru the carolinas because we are interested in moving to charlotte area.

do not have a car to import and everything is more than a year old.

so do not envisage much paperwork.

seems forms are easy , not sure if there is a official form for your belongings??

also will not bring everything on first journey.will be back up to canada at new year.

should do my POE early august ,when I visit inlaws in S dakota.

after our two weeks in europe we

will use Jules SUV To tow a trailer 6x12 to florida from Toronto in late august.

What paperwork is required, the 6x12 will be ram jam full!!

of course if you are a bad risk they would know instanly

but having 5 star rating cuts no ice it seems.

will transfer my amex soon, probaly this week.

my interview is late july , will be poe early august.

but only for a week or 2 ,then off to europa,

will hitch up the trailer and head south on aug 30th.

so had no probs with fifth/third they are really helpfull

will have my ssn by late august and will set up a car loan,

and pay it off within weeks, that should set the credit ball rolling

but did meet a mortgage rep in naples fl who told me

that he gets loans for canucks with their own credit bureaus.

medisys was very abrupt telling me the panel physician makes the call

on which jabs I require.

Dr Seidens clearly stated all I need is Tetanus/diptheria booster.

have arranged to get it at health centre tomorrow

and have 7am at front st monday morn.

185 cash same as medisys, so the helpfull lady helped me to make the decision

also seidens website is very helpful, medisys is a warren of corparate diatribe
