Oh that's really sweet of u! Thank u so much and I hope we don't get delays at the NVC stage too. Wish u the best of luck too (L)

  2. They are sending a notice to find out what is going on with your case. I can tell you that in the past, after I have called for a service request...it didn't take long for me to get responses from USCIS.

Hope you hear good news soon!!

Thanks for the reply, did mean after the service request that they did to ur case u got ur approval? Plz can u remember after how long? COS we r really desperate to get approved :(

  3. I wanna thank u all for ur replies may God bless u all. u guys u don't know how it warmth my heart when i got all of ur replies it's making me feel that I'm not alone. I just wanna let u know that my husband called the uscis yesterday and they did for him a request of service i don't know what exactly means lool but i'm having a good feeling abt it, he'll call them again next week. So I'm really grateful for u all. THANK U AGAIN FROM THE Bottom OF MY HEART!!!!!!!!(L)

  4. Since your petition is beyond the normal processing time of 5 months, I would definitely contact your respective congressman and senators. IMHO, it is a much better option than calling USCIS. I, personally, have contacted my state representatives when my stepdaughter's petition was at 5 months. I received an approval email several hours later. A congressional inquiry cannot force USCIS to make a decision, but it certainly can speed up the processing of your petition. You will need to complete an authorization form, from their respective websites. This authorizes their liaisons to contact USCIS on your behalf.

Good luck with your petition! Keep us posted with what happens.

Thank u so much for ur reply!!! but according of the replies contat congressman or uscis first? it's soo confusing!!

  5. I wish I had good advice, but everything I have tried has not helped. I have been waiting since November 15, 2010. I filed a service request at six months and received a letter saying that we were still in background checks, inquire back in 180 days. I contacted my Senator and they told me they inquired and got the same response. I think if I had it to do over again, I would contact my Congressman first.

I feel your pain. I am trusting in God to get us through this process in His time.

    Good Luck

OH SORRY abt that I feel ur pain but what r u willing to do abt it?!! May God make it smoother for!! praying for!!

  6. What country is the beneficiary from?

Some do take slightly longer than other, due to additional checks i believe?

Im a member of another forum and we have two people who filed middle january too, that havent had their NOA2's yet.

Hopefully it will be soon for you

Thank u for u reply!! the country of the beneficiary is Tunisia so that's why find it weird cos not a lot of people here going through the process of immigration

  7. Hi everybody, I'm seeing that California is approving march fillers and our petition was sent on the 17th of January, it's been 5months and 5days of agonizing wait and still we didn't hear anything from them i'm so pissed offffff :help: , plz can anyone tell me what we should do? Any comment will be helpful! THANK U ALL!!

  8. Hi, Somewhere in my past did try to use drugs. What if I was diagnosed positive during medical examination, is my visa will be denied? (sorry for my English i hope u understand)

Hi I don't believe that automatically they test for drugs only if the doctor suspects something, I think that they usually test ur blood sexual transmitted disease such as HIV/AIDS and Syphilis.

  9. I know what u r feeling sister. Coz we r in the same boat in here. It's been 5 months and 6 days since my precious husband left and it feels like an eternity, I hate it when we connect and all what we can do is to talk and tell each other how much we miss to be together, is about him I think when I go to bed and abt him when I wake up. I'm trying to be patient and trying to help him to be patient but deep down my heart is crying out loud. It's not fair for a couple to be away from each for the sake of the stupid procedure of visa. But all what I can say to u sis is to hang in there and be patient for the sake of ur love pray and ask God to make it easy for u. Good Luck in ur journey and I'm gonna pray for u that u have an easy smooth fast processing!!

  10. First of all, I would like to thank all of you for your continuous support.

Then, I had my second interview on 9 May at the US embassy in Cairo (DCF).

    It went very easy

Did u fill DS-230 yourself? YES

    Do u understand everything? YES

Raise your right hand and swear...I swear everything is correct.

I approve your visa...congrats...you will receive it within 2 weeks, and I received it after 3 days.

I asked him bla bla bla....and he replied very gently

    Wow,

    That's all

    Thank you again everyone

    Congratulation sister!! Alf Mabrouk
