When uploading docs to ceac online, there is a box for comments (optional). I was just curious if anyone put any information in there and, if so, what type of info?

Our case is currently at NVC and I know you can delay the process there up to a year or longer if you contact them. We were planning on submitting things here and there and delaying for a while but I was curious, once you actually complete and submit the DS-260, can you still wait to submit the other documentation along that same guideline?

Ok. So my wife and I were filling out the DS-260 tonight and at some point it asks about her spouse (me) and I put that I was born in US but then it asks if I am immigrating with her? At first, since I live with her in her country, and have for a long time, I thought to answer yes since we would be going at same time; then it asked same for our child (A US citizen with CRBA) which I also answered yes.....but then that seemed wrong so I went back and changed to NO. Anyone have any guidance on this? I assume the answer is no since my child and I are already US citizens but second guessing makes me unsure.

Hi everyone! We filed our I-130 (spouse visa) in August 20 of 2019 and our NOA1 was sent from Nebraska Service Center. We were continuously checking the USCIS timetable and when our case was not approved by the receipt date for a case inquiry, we sent a message to USCIS. They told us that our case was actually being processed in Vermont Service Center and that our case looked good but they couldn't give us more information. Did this ever happen to any of you??? Since we are in VSC, the date for a case inquiry is now June 05, 2018. That will make that our case will take almost two years for NOA1-NOA2 step. Any ideas why could have gone wrong in our case? Are any of you in the same situation?? Thanks, Anderson and Rebecca

Hi! I am new in this forum... I would like to receive more information from you, I see there are members with knowledge about the process. I submitted the I130 on August 11th, 2016. I reviewed the visa bulletin, it shows 2 dates: one is a Final action dates for family- sponsored preference cases: Sept 15th 2014, and the other is Dates for filing family-sponsored visa applications: July 22nd 2015. Which one is the date the I should look at? My daughter is in Peru, I am a US citizen. Thank you for your help!
