US Immigration from Peru

I have a question, for those applying for AOS in 2021, so far, are there any updates on the fees one needs to pay? I've been trying to look for information online but I have not found anything new, Do you know if it is still just one payment of $1,225. (AOS fee $1,140 + Biometrics fee $85), which includes forms I-765 and I-131 as well. I would appreciate your help,

I filed my daughter s petition on August 2016. I received a letter requesting adtional evidence about my name. When I got married the first time, I did not change my single name, never used a married name. However, on my daughter s birth certificate shows my name with my ex-husband last name. I do not have any document neither IDs with my ex-husband s last name. I have the marriage certificate showing my name as single, and the divorce decree. What other documents can I send as a proof that I am the same person and I am my daughter s mother? Please I need your advices!!! Thanks!!

Hi Everyone,

After a very long wait my husband finally received notice that his interview for citizenship has been scheduled at the Baltimore Office. The only catch is that we're expecting our first baby and they've scheduled him for a date that's less than a week out from our due date. I'm obviously concerned that I could go into labor and he will have to miss the interview. We reached out via the phone number on the interview notice that was provided to reschedule in case of covid symptoms and they gave us a confirmation number for our request and said that we should hear back within 30 days. I have two questions regarding this:

1. The original interview is scheduled for less than 30 days out... if we don't hear back before then does he just not show up? What would happen in that case?

2. I'm seeing in other forums on here that people say you have to write a letter to have the interview rescheduled. Should we do that too or do we think that calling will suffice?

Thanks for any help anyone can provide! Of all the weeks we could have gotten for the interview of course it turns out to be the week our baby is due! As if I needed one more thing to stress over in the lead up to the big day

I had an expat friend here in Peru ask me today what exactly to do to report unearned income on the i-864 and, though he filed a tax return for last year with only unearned income, he also was checking the box for "not required to file" since he wasn't, which seems logical. His question to me was, in filing online, is he supposed to submit a letter stating why he isn't required to file taxes along with his past year tax return (in one file) where the most recent tax return document should go in ceac, or should he submit a letter explaining under one of the other many menu items?
